Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

30 days!!!! Crazy - when this started my trip seemed far away - let alone yours! I liked the recap pictures - I missed the live ADR's - I bet I was on our trip at the time.

As one of the Young Adults at church once said to me.."you're the most immature 46 year old I've ever met" Was that a compliment?

TOTALLY!! :cool2: ROCK ON DUDE!!!

Violent Femmes-Blister in the Sun......oy! Dancing to that in college/post-college....

:lmao: I think we mostly just bounced around to that song.

The kilt.....:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I can't remember what the deal was with the kilt! Do you actually have one or were we all just laughing about it???

Here's my happy homemaker tip of the day..I made a bunch of these as Christmas presents and people LOVED them!

Everlasting Fabric Softener Sheet:

Go to the dollar store and buy a two pack (or however many you want) of washclothes. Pour enough liquid fabric softener in the bottom of a bucket (something you don't use for food) to cover the washclothes. Put the washclothes in the fabric softener and let them soak. (I let them soak overnight). When you're ready, put on a pair of gloves and wring out the washcloth, then hang it to dry. Once they're dried, I mark mine FS on the tag so I know it's the softener sheet..throw it in the dryer..it should last 100 loads. Just check it occasionally and make sure it's still smells like the softener.

AWESOME!! thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2

Pretty soon the signs above those aisles in Target are going to read "the Jordan aisle" instead of "travel products". Just you wait... :rolleyes1

HEE HEE HEE!!! :lmao::rolleyes1

Jordy, I loved your recap of the PTR over the last 7 months. So much fun.

I'm going to do an update tonight too. :thumbsup2

Seems like when 30 days hit we are suddenly super busy and have TONS to do before the trip. :rotfl2: Ever notice that??

WOOT for 30 days Jordan that is fantastic!!

You mean to tell me the light switch is supposed to click at 30 days that I need to get a move on cuz I swear mine clicked like yesterday LOL!!!! Can't wait to hear more and more about your plans! This has been a great and fun PTR to be a part of!

No, I was saying to Rose that we can't forget you in the picture with them posing fun picture poses infront of the Chinese Laundry place. Dising in your sleep, that's funny! I think this is what I do most of the time. I can see how you would think I was talking to you and not Rose though.

Ahhhhhhh, got it. I was confused  Yes, shockingly even though I'm technically an introvert, somehow when it comes to taking kooky pictures, that goes out the window... fortunately, my kids don't have that issue to overcome and are willing participants in crazy photo ops. Hee hee hee. Makes for some really fun pictures.

It works out that way so that we don't feel the days drag by before our trip, and then also it helps to APPRECIATE the trip so much more after being so crazy during the weeks before!! :thumbsup2

I have only had time to read your updates and none of the comments in between, I will get back to that though.

I'm sure everyone has said all this, but I have to say it anyway: Love the pic of your father in the food induced comma; I can't believe how big the kids are getting (Wendy you really have your hands full); the pic of the new shoes in the Mary Poppins pose was very funny; and, last but not least, congrats on being 30 days away.:banana:

Oh, and I'm really glad to see that you are replacing all those ripped/torn/shredded undi-wears.

:rotfl2: I think you are so very right on this!! :thumbsup2

Wendy, continued prayers for your dad. Hope all turns out well!

Jordan...ya'll are getting close to the trip. So wish ours was that close. Heck...wish I even knew for sure ours was happening. lol :D

How was Avatar, btw? All I've heard are great things about it. Hoping the hubs and I can get my parents to watch our DS so we can go see it soon.

Crap...gotta go get dinner in the oven! :D

Ciao for now!

I can't believe it's getting this close. For cryin out loud we're almost 7 days into the month already.

I ended up not seeing it because the IMAX showings were basically too crowded for us to get in..ON A MONDAY!

What's for dinner?

We got the snowstorm on Christmas Eve - I didn't drive over 45 mph all the way to the airport, but thankfully they had everything under control there and we flew out with no problem! :thumbsup2 The TR will be started in the next few days, I'll PM ya a link when I get it started.

I read a few comments above...I missed the news with your uncle...going back to find out what...:guilty:

I am amazed that you got out! How great is that?:thumbsup2 God is good.

Can't wait for the report!

:woohoo: for 30 days!! It is going to fly by now!
Thanks for the recap of your PTR...funny stuff...I forgot about the drunk episode! :rotfl2: Ugh and the early ADR's!!

Tracy

The ADRs live post was crazy. That morning was nuts and stressful, but kinda fun because I was updating on the DIS....:thumbsup2

It was fun to look back!

30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is SOOOOO exciting! And surreal, I know exactly what you mean!

I'm tired right now just thinking about what needs to get done between now and then.

Prayers for your Uncle/Wendy's dad that the pain gets better and they find some way to make him more comfortable.
:grouphug:

I saw my mom today and she was kinda depressed. She said I hope that he heals or that he goes fast. She doesn't want him to suffer.

Oh my.

Sounds like you already did...in the car anyway.

It's a better story told orally, but I'll put it in my next update.

I'm excited, but need to try and focus on work.

I can't remember what the deal was with the kilt! Do you actually have one or were we all just laughing about it???

I am supposed to wear one at WDW in honor of the guy that I saw in 08 wearing a kilt at AK.
