Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I just wanted to wish you a magical trip in case I don't get back over here before you leave.

:wizard:

My friend just posted a picture of us from 9th grade circa 1977.

Assuming that was in the spring, I would've been in 6th grade....too young and uncool to hang out with the likes of you upperclassmen.

Is that the makings of a 'stache I see?

YAY for being two days away....hope you got some more of that packing done LOL!! Although its okay if you have to do it all last minute you are on your way to DISNEY!!

So excited for you Jordan!

Hey Jordan! Its been a while since I have been over here but I am glad I made it in time to wish you a awesome and safe trip! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Just in case I don't get back online before you leave...

Have a great time!! Looking forward to hearing all about your adventures when you get back.

Two days!!! You better toss all that stuff in a suitcase soon, Jordan!

Did you watch Lost last night? They promised answers, but I think I just ended up with more questions.

Great pic from prom!

I really only have time to pack tonight as I have a meeting tomorrow night.:scared1:

I did watch LOST last night. I think we got one BIG answer about who or what the smoke monster is.

It was actually our 9th grade valentines dance.........young love.

This is a great picture. :)
Such a handsome young man!

Yay for being in Disney World VERY soon! :dance3:

It was a surprise when she posted the pic of FB. We had a good time. I can't believe it was over 30 years ago.

I am started to get a little excited.:woohoo:

Ahh, the ruffled shirt and the Gunne Sax dress. You guys were the height of fashion!

TL is one of my favorite places at WDW. If only I could build one in my backyard.

I really like my shoes but perhaps they are not the most age appropriate.

I think the shoes are FAB and perfectly fine. Hmph!

It's not like they are obnoxious colors, have graffiti all over them or are trying too hard to be a "kid" brand. Now if they were Ed Hardy's....

Actually The kids seems to do either DC's, Vans or Nike's.

Funny kid story for you on the shoes. Evan got some xmas money and really wanted to buy shoes. I wasn't chipping in, he had $30 and not a penny more. He has expensive taste and falls into the "too big and cool for the little kid stuff" but "too small to fit into the big kid stuff". It's a pain, 5th and 6th grade until the kids get big enough to shop at the teen stores.

At any rate. We looked online. Went to EVERY store in the mall. What little he did even like and came in his size was way over his budget. On the way out I suggested Penney's. He looked at me like I had 3 heads.

"Penney's? Who shops at Penney's? They won't have anything."

And I'm like, Dude. When I was your age I got my very first pair of Nikes at Penney's. You never know. Give it a shot.

Sure 'nuff. Great selection of Vans and Nikes in his size and price range.

So kudos to you for being open to Nordstrom. Pumas are classic! And not something I think of as a kid brand at all.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I don't know...last time I tried that it didn't work out too well for me and I have a huge bruise to prove it.

I love the ruffle shirt tuxedo!:thumbsup2 My sister had a prom dress that looks alot like the one your friend was wearing

I was a little confused when you called because I have a nephew Jordan but it didn't sound like him. But then, I'm also the person who dosen't recognize my own brother's voice when he calls.

You're there!!!!!!

The tux doesn't seem so out of date....

I knew you were confused...I could hear it in your voice....I sometimes don't recognize people's voices. I'm terrible that way too.

I'm terrible that way too.

Same here....5th grade....if I can do the math right on only one cup of coffee. I would have died for that dress, had a couple of skirts that were along those lines....

Glad the weather is taking a turn for the better. I hope it hits 80 for ya! :thumbsup2

I'm not going to tell you where I was in 1977. :rolleyes1

2 DAYS!:woohoo: 2 DAYS!:woohoo: 2DAYS!:woohoo:

Weather is so fickle. Now it says chance of rain ALL week or at least Tuesday-Saturday. Go figure...I'm just going with the flow.

I'm with Liesa. I'm thinking you weren't even born yet....

I can not wait.

I laughed when I saw the stache too or at least the attempt at a stache.....

Jen, I'm just following your lead==packing right up until 1-2 days before.;)

I can't wait for the 13 day trip!

packing 1 week ahead 2 days, 1 day, not for us, we pack the night before, before we go to bed.

we always seem to do it that way, gets us pumped for the next day.

I loved my Gunne Sack!!! Loved IT!! I think I had to beg about a year to get it.

Hi Jordan

Just wanted to say have a great trip. I have enjoyed reading your past reports and this pre trip. Can not wait for you to start trip report for this one.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with great timing! I am glad for the crocs even if they weren't too stylish at work today...if it weren't for the DIS and someone on the budget board or somewhere posting about a sale, I wouldn't have had them!

So for all you peeps going Feb 13-20...just look for the girl in the aggie shoes!

Lol. Seems like I injured myself some other way as well days before the trip...but I can't remember. lol

At least you'll be comfortable though with the broken toe in the aggie shoes. :D
