Peco Bills or Cosmic Rays for lunch?

I'm WICKED biased, but go with Pecos Bills!

I don't like Cosmic Rays because they have different "bays" for different meal items... so if you want chicken and someone else wants a burger, you have to wait in 2 different lines, or wait in line twice. At Pecos you can order the whole menu at any registar, makes it way easier. Plus, pecos is on the parade route so you can get a great view of Dreams Come True or Spectro (unless it's not running!) or of the hoedown and Woody's Cowboy Camp (till it gets cancelled!)

The used-to-be ultimate reason to pick Pecos was the peanut butter brownies but they got nixed last fall. (unless they are back, i'd be VERY EXCITED) but anyway. Go to Pecos. the Taco salad is DELISH, the chicken wrap is great... and it's the greatest quick service in the wild west!

I picked Cosmic Ray's for the selections. I've been to both and Cosmic Rays has everything Pecos Bill's has, plus a few selections. We love the turkey-bacon wrap.

Although it is perceived you can't get burgers on the chicken side, that is actually incorrect. There is a line open on the chicken bay side that offers burgers and hot dogs along with all the chicken selections, so it's not that big of a deal. The only open this line up during peak volume time.

Cosmic Ray's does have the little music show, but we haven't paid much attention to it. A couple other reason's we like Cosmic Ray's...there is plenty of seating. We've never had a problem finding a spot...and usually in the air conditioning to boot! The other reason we like it is if you do get "stuck" outside, the balcony area gets a great breeze and you can enjoy the breeze while people watching and cooling off in the shade.

I voted Peco Bills- I love their taco salad and the big fixins bar! You can personalize your food more at Pecos than you can at Rays, and I love that Peco was on the parade route and has some outside seating (cant remember if Rays has outdoor seating). Enjoy!

I chose Pecos Bills... I am not really sure why I don't like Cosmic Ray's, but each time we have went in, we have walked back out.

Maybe it is the line system or that it is busier or atmosphere?

If I had to pick from your two choices - it would be Pecos Bill's. I agree that Cosmic Rays has lots of options, but as another poster already said, you have to stand in different lines to get the different foods. Too much of a hassle. Even if you have two adults to stand in line separately (like me and DH) we always get our food at different times. Often, one of us can have our meal long enough to either finish it before the other comes, or wait and it gets cold. So, Pecos Bill's.

Even though you didn't ask - I'd vote for Columbia Harbor House over PB. It is my favorite counter service at MK! I love the upstairs seating - nice and quiet for a cool down lunch.

My family prefers Pecos Bill's to Cosmic Rays. Not sure why - they are both about the same as far as I'm concerned but DD and DH insist on Pecos. I do like the fixings bar if I get a burger.

Me too... I love pecos, but columbia has the best fries, and I love the seating areas!

Cosmic has a better selection (but if you want a burger and chicken you must sit in two separate lines). Cosmic is also a lot busier during lunch in my opinion.

I prefer Cosmic Rays, but honestly, I don't go out of my way to eat at either. I just eat at which ever one I am closest to when we get hungry. I like Columbia harbor house as well.

Peco Bill's is the only meal we had at WDW last August that none of us liked. Even our 5yo refused to eat the fries. We were at the P&PP parade and couldn't get to Cosmic Ray's. I'll definitely wait in the future. I got the meal to go so we could eat while we watched the parade; they were not equipped with to go bags or containers. I'm not sure if that's a WDW thing as we only ate two other park CS meals and we sat at the restaurant both times.
