We're flying into Toronto on Tuesday and have 3 hours before our flight to California. Can someone recommend a good restaurant for lunch once we're through customs? Our kids (4 and 7) are going to be hungry!

Which terminal are you flying through? (or alternately what airline so I can look up which terminal?)

There is no such terminal as "B" - it is either T1 or T3. If you are flying the same airline (or within the same alliance) you are probably flying out of T1.

Are you looking for an a restaurant outside of the airport? The problem is that you'll have your luggage with you since you have to collect your luggage at Pearson and pre-clear US customs/immigration. You may be able to leave it at a luggage storage place (I've never transferred through Pearson, so I'm not sure).

We're flying Air Canada. You're right, it's T1. B is where we fly into in California.

Terminal 1 at YYZ is a beautiful facility with plenty of dining choices. Only you know what you would be in the mood for, so check out the dining choices in the terminal and map out which one you and your family would like!

Be sure to bring food for your plane ride....I was very disappointed to see that Air Canada doesn't even provide those darn little pretzel bags!!!!!! All we got was a free drink from the drink cart! Also, bring your own headphones! They charge for the headphones now too, when they were once free. Have a great trip!

Although T1 does have a good selection, not much of it is beyond security in the transborder area. Off the top of my head (I was there 4 weeks ago, but the airports tend to blend together) there is a Pizza Pizza/Upper Crust area, a Tim Hortons, and one sit down restaurant that seemed more like a bar.

There are another couple that may or may not be within the area you can reach (they area is somewhat adaptable, so the exact configuration changes depending on need).
