Even after reading on these boards, I'm still confused about:
Are the rooms called rooms or villas? Some people call them Villa's some call them rooms. The real difference is the area not the room. They offer East, West, Villa and Hospitality Wings with different room types.
Is there consierge? No, not at the moment but there is talk to bring it back.
Is the main pool called the Villa Pool or the Beach Pool? The Main pool is the beach pool, the villa pool is deeper and overlooks the villa wing. There is also a hillside pool located near the East wing.
What is the hospitality wing? Hmmm never stayed in this area so I dont really know what room types it holds. It is located (I believe) in the main building accessed through the reception area.
Do bay view rooms have balconies? There are very few balconies/patio's in this hotel. I had one that overlooked the bay once but it was a suite. The balconies are standing only, patios (my favorite) with table and chairs that overlooked the villa pool and they also have a few balconies that have table and chairs.
We are trying to decide which type of room we want. Any information to help? Thanks! My favorite area is the West Wing. It is convienient to the beach pool and villa pool and the boat dock. I really like the deluxe poolview room layout.
This hotel changed the name of their room categories years ago for some reason and confuses many of us!
