Now Loew's has really done it. Last year they messed with my mind by first giving us a free upgrade to club status and then a month after our stay (only our 2nd at a Loew's hotel) a platinum card arrived in the mail. OK, so somehow they think I'm someone I'm not but I'll run with it. So naturally, when planning our trip this year, I had to take advantage of that platinum perk and booked a 4 night stay at PBH with a free upgrade to a portofino suite. Guilt set in about last year's free upgrade to club status so I decided to treat the family and pay for it this year - take that Loew's you're not going to spoil me this year - NOT!
We arrived early June 30th and a room wasn't ready but was advised at that time that our room was a Hospitality Suite! Well from visiting the boards, Loew's and Universal's sites I knew immediately what that meant but that still didn't prepare me for the room. Loew's - how do you expect me ever to stay with you again? You can't possibly top what you have already done. It's only downhill now.
Anyways, thought I would share some pics.
Here is the parlor entrance area looking back into the hallway.
This is the parlor's seating area.
And of course you need a dining area for 8 when staying at the PBH.
The galley featured a microwave, small fridge and icemaker with room for plenty of liquor bottles.
What hotel room wouldn't have a piano?
Oh yeh, there was a bedroom and 2 bathrooms. How am I ever going to stay in a regular room again?
