my husband and I are new to DCL. I am wondering if you are able to make payments as you see fit before your cruise date. We are planning for August 2017, so we have more then enough time to pay a certain amount a month. Is that possible? That is what we did for our last 3 WDW trips and it worked out perfectly.

Yes, DCL will accept partial payments up until the time of your "Paid in Full" date. Once you put down the deposit, you can make payments at your convenience (if you used a Travel Agent, you do have to go through the agency to make payments, you cannot go directly to DCL to make the payment).

Yes, you can make payments like with WDW packages. The only real difference is that the will be due 75 days prior to sailing.

Just a note, some cruises have earlier Paid in Full dates than 75 days. Be sure you know what yours is.

I would personally rather put it into a savings account where I earn the interest, rather than letting Disney earn my interest.
