Dollar rate is climbing to 1.42, anyone know if you can pay next year dues in advance.
Seems to let you get to the payment stage even though account balance is zero?

Im using a Halifax clarity card should get the bank rate.

You can, just make an overpayment and it will sit there until next year. The site warns you that you are going into credit and you just click ok
They seem think it may hit 1.5 by the end of this year, but don't bank on that!

When the exchange rate was almost $2 to the pound, we also paid a lot of dollars in advance. Before Brexit we topped it up a bit too, just in case. It saved us money in the long run but that's the only reason that we would consider doing it again

Curious if this would work if the DVC owner wanted to reduce estate taxes, so prepaid like 20 years in advance? Or if you just wanted to not have the kids worry about paying dues for awhile. Granted , that 30 grand that now might cover 20 years with a bit of a cushion, may really only cover 15 years as time goes by.
