We are just back from a wonderful three day trip for our 13th Anniversary. The touring style was a little different since we didn't have children with us and we were able to enjoy some of the adult things Disney has to offer.

Day one May 22--arrive in Orlando at midnight and pick up car form Alamo. Arrived at Coranado Springs at about 2am (Alamo is soooooo slow). Our room keys are waiting in an envelope and the CM at guest services was very friendly and quick. After showing us on the map where our room was located she pointed out a few of the points of interest for us. We got back into the car and drove to Casitas 4 and parked the car. Exhausted we entered the room--I was a little worried becasue of late arrival--everything was beautiful and very clean. At that hour of course we just crashed right after settign up our AM wake-up call.

Day two May 23--we woke up with our "mickey call" and had coffee and poptarts in the room. A quick look at the map revealed the bus stop right outside the room--what a perk! We were able to get on the next bus to MGM--bus service at CS is excellent I never waited more than 10 minutes for anything-- I couldn't believe how empty the park looked at opening. I prefer the crowds to too many wlak ons. I guess I just know they are not doing well when I can walk on everything. We waited at the gate for about ten minutes before the park opened. The "Star Wars" pre-show withthe storm troopers kept us entertained for a little while. We headed for a gift shop tp return one of my daughter's souvies from Easter--Cindy's head popped off before we arrived home last time! Fast and easy return withthe sales slip. From there DH and I went to TOT and rode, over to RNRC and rode, back to TOT, back to RNRC. Next we went to WWTBAM and got a fast pass. Then on to the backlot tour--mostly to be nosey. The hunckback theater is housing the Osbourne lights, many trees on the backlot are marked with survey markers, etc.
Used our fast pass, walked around and then had a late lunch at Brown Derby ( I will post a report on the dining page). We took the Friendship boat over to the Swan where we walked around and explored for a little while before walking to Epcot. We browsed through the displays, purchased the beautiful poster, and took several pictures of the topieries. We enjoyed walking around and just looking. About 5 pm we headed back to CS for a quick nap and shower before going to Pleasure Island. At PI we spent most of the time at the Adventurer's Club. We stayed for the fireworks and listended to the band outside for a bit before returning to CS. **Soapbox** Why do people bring 6 year olds to adult nightclubs after 9pm?**Off soapbox!
May 24th Up and over to MK in time for the new opening ceremony. This was very nice. Entered MK at opening--rather than rush to Dumbo we rushed to line up at the bakery for breakfast! Fresh hot Cinnamon buns and what they try to pass off as coffee. Headed over to Fantasy land and rode everthing with no waits--with Pooh down and the "new thing" not opened it didn't take long to get through here. Over to the HM again no wait. On to Pirates and JC--long line got FP, over to Country Bears. We didn't bother with the mountains or anything else that would be available for e-night since we knew we were coming back for that. Back to JC and then back to CS for lunch at the Pepper Market and a swim and nap. Over to CR for a 530 Anniversary dinner at California Grill and then back to MK for the e-night. First DH said he didn't want to view the parade so I just started heading for the rides then he changed his mind--but by then there was little available seating. We ended up by the plaza restaurant--not too bad of a view. We went behind the castle to watch the fireworks--it really isn't the same without the caslte in the view--I won't so that again! On to e-night where we were able to ride everthing available at least once, HM and Buzz twice, stopped at Bakery for a slice fo carrot cake to share and then we left about an hour early since we were satisfied with what we did and saw.
Sunday May 25th--breakfast at Kona, and a day at the pool, and a quick meal at the Pepper Market before leaving at 3pm to catch our flight at 5pm.
I will leave dining reviews on the restaurant boards sometime tomorrow. Any questions please feel free...
