What time do I actually arrive at port parking lot. My pat is 10:30. Don't want to get there too early but don't want to be late how early will the gate open?

10am is a good time to get towards the parking lot. Now they were strict on 10.30am and did send you back before that but recent reports are your OK about 10am >10.15am and the terminal will open at 10.30am .Never get there before 10am .

Do people that arrive on the bus from MCO get treated differently in terms of being allowed to enter (a) the terminal area and/or (b) the terminal building? E.G. for an 11am PAT, could you still get the earliest bus from MCO and be allowed in the terminal?

Or is it a case of maybe they will let you in, maybe they won't, just depends on the day???

The first MCO DCL buses leave at 9.10am and arrive about 10.15 and they are allowed in so yes treated differently.

Now the normal thought is if arriving by MCO and a DCL bus the PAT doesn't matter, you will get in but your boarding card number may be higher the later the PAT you have and so you may be called later to embark.

The cae is not maybe they do/don't, its if the previous cruise docked on time, if embarkation is going to plan and starting at 11.15 there is a safety number limit for the terminal and those with the earlier PATs will get in on time but if your early and the terminal is full you may be denied entry. again if arriving by DCL bus you should get in.

Boarding cards start at 1 and go up. Concierge, platinum and special needs get the lowest and No1 then it gets higher, for embarkation they will call out now boarding 2/3/4 .

So

Examples.
Cruisers A have PAT 10.30am
Cruisers B have PAT 1PM.

Both arrive at 10.30am and the terminal is full.

A get in B may not unless arrive by DCL bus OR Platinum or concierge.

On arrival cruisers A get boarding card 5 and cruisers B get boarding card 15.

Both wait until embarkation starts and wait their turn for boarding numbers to be called and then go on.
