It was nice to dine outside on the patio on Friday night. The atmosphere here is certainly nice. The service was friendly. DH and I enjoyed a Polish beer called Okocim that was great if you like darker beers. It was a Porter, and had over 8% alcohol (no wonder why I was smiling!). We were, however, disappointed in the jumbalaya. It arrived barely warm, like it had been sitting getting cold. For $14.95, the portion was small. We are much bigger fans of the Pastalaya dish at the Rainforest Cafe.

Our meal at Pastamore was better than I expected. We arrived about 7:45 on Saturday evening and were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and efficient (and very busy). She did forget to bring us bread, which came in a basket while we were eating our dinners. I had the chicken piccata, which was good. DS tried the Pesto Chicken, which he gave a thumbs up to. DD and DH had the chicken parmesan. DD's was the child's portion, which came with marinara sauce and spaghetti. DH had his with linguine, which arrived with an unexpected cheese sauce in the pasta. He asked for more red sauce, which came halfway through the meal.

It was nice to try some different places at Citywalk (other than Margaritaville and the Hard Rock, which were have been to several times.) :cheer2:

Great review!

You know, we've enjoyed Pastamore, too. We always keep it as a backup sort of because it just kind of reminds us of the pizza place you generally see in mall food courts, but we've eating there twice now (once for breakfast & once for dinner) and we were very pleasantly surprised both times :)

I hear you, too, on the jambalaya at O'Bs. My hubby wasn't too impressed. I noticed the crawfish in the po'boys on past visits were a bit lukewarm, as well as rice & beans I ordered. We went a few nights later and had the redfish which was perfect, as were the crawfish etouffe nachos I think the trick there is to order things they must make very, very fresh to order.

Have a good one :)
