passionfruit?

Hi everyone,

I don't know if anyone here knows where to find out about passionfruit? I want to plant some in my backyard. I toyed with this idea last year (but DH said, um no LOL), but have read that it is a pretty invasive plant. I live inland, in So. Cal., and it gets really hot in the summer. My backyard gets full sun. I've been slightly obsessed with passionfruit since we had passionfruit mousse filling in our wedding cake... perhaps I have posted this for you all before...I swear, I can't remember things! lol

I have been wanting to get this for my yard..will like to hear any answers too..

I think so...I've been doing some research and I think I want the "black knight" which is a more compact passiflora plant. I want to put it in a container so it doesn't take up my backyard...
