Passing the time "till June

Our June trip seems like it's taking forever. Any suggestions for passing the time? I'm here alot so that's a start. Anything else?

I have to wait until January 25, 2006. That's like over 9 months. It's all booked. I only wish I was going in June. Actually, no, it's way too hot for me then.

have a good time!!!! And think of all of us back here until next winter.

We are going in June too! Its really not that far off! Im working and saving money. I will want to buy a lot of STUFF. So thats only 6 pay checks away!

I will send a box down loaded with things like:
ziplocks
first aid
hand held mist fans
batteries
lysol wipes
clothes soap
dryer sheets
beach towels
paper plates
coffee pot
coffee + filter
cream + sugar
rain coats
sunscreen
neat sheet
extension cord
pump hand soap
water jugs
flash light
water shoes
bug spray
blender
mudslides
plastic bowls
cereal
water cameras
crystal light
pop tarts
crackers
unbrellas
paper towels

As I see things I buy them and throw them in the box.

I have also been buying some summer clothes and shoes (Im wearing my sandels and new Mickey flip flops in the house to break them in) I also have to buy clothes and shoes for my DS's and DH.

Ill need the next 2 months to finish getting ready.

I'm with some of the other posters. Saving money, shopping for things we'll need on the trip, hanging out here, praying that DW shows up somewhere on the TV

We're 2 months away from our trip and I've already started packing (things like toiletries...no clothes yet!!). I try and plan something new to concentrate on each week. By the end of this week, I should have all our PS's and other arrangements pretty much finalized. Then I can start working on organizing my binder.

Everyone I know thinks I'm . But, compared to some of the bad habits they have...I'll take my Disney addiction any day!!!

My sisters, whom I'm going with think I'm crazy--I keep calling them with the tips I find on the board or in the books I've read..my response to them is that they're just not excited as I am! (They say they're not as crazy..but whatever!) I hope all my planning pays off for us.

To plan for my trip, I keep an eye on the travel size products and see if I can pick anything up in my trip..they often change a lot--so it's good. Target great selection!

I'm also breaking in my KEEN sandals that I got because of this site. LOVE THEM! They're so comfy, they're going to be walking me all around the world!

I just recently, about 2 months ago started really planning it, and it's a good thing because I think if I had started planning earlier than that, I'd not only have driven my sisters insane...but I would probably wouldn't have slept in a year! I feel like a little kid I'm so excited. I can't do any research before I go to bed, or I can't sleep!!! DISNEY..HERE I COME!

Add me to the "passing time until June" group. I've been buying and stockpiling things in my guest room for our trip. I've almost finished clothes shopping for my two grandsons, who will be joining us. I'm still looking for misting fans, they don't seem to have hit our Dollar Tree yet. I've got my grocery list ready to email to WEGOSHOP. Still need to make a couple PS arrangements. Purchased my second pair of Keen sandals today from Zappos. I've got to stop. I don't need another pair of shoes!

It's hard to pass the time! I'm a teacher and we are going a week after school lets out so I'm biting my nails until the end of the school year AND our trip! I keep thinking my ticker says almost two months now and I remember when it painfully said 6!

I too buy a couple toiletries a week now. I got some good coupons for Fashion Bug where I scored some great tank tops for those sweltering FL days! Do you do fun things with your kiddos as the time gets closer, such as make a countdown chain or leave small Disney surprises for them with a note about how long until your trip? That is always fun. We don't have kids, but I did it with my parents and brothers when we did our reunion trip three years ago since they had not been to WDW in 10 years.

When is everyone going in June? We may need to coordinate a brief meet up and hello or at least wear DISboards fl. green so we can spot eachother if we happen to cross paths!

August!!!! I too am so excited though. I need to get a large Rubbermaid tote to start putting things that I pick up for the trip in there. I want to start keeping an eye out for travel size items and ponchos and the mister fans, etc. I too email my family the tips that I get from here. There are 10 of us going, 6 adults and 4 children ages 12, 9, 6 and 4. We can't wait!!! We came up with our itinerary last weekend when we were all together. Hope everyone has a great time on their trips!!!

I'm passing the time until June...DRIVING MY DH CRAZY WITH MY PERPETUAL PLANNING! I'm graduating grad school in May, and things are pretty easy from here on out, so that's all I can seem to make my brain do!

I am a teacher too and going in June (17th-27th)..... I love planning for the trip. I am more excited than my ds. I only use him as my excuse to be able to go back and see Mickey without being told that I am crazy. I found out that even two of my students will be there the same time as us, so we plan during recess at school, swapping tips about disney and our favorite things to do. I am truly the "Disney" addict!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June june june junejune. Everyone is going crazy with me. I have to stop buying fun stuff & start with neccessities. We have a friend coming with us, and he just started getting excited this past w/e. He wanted to know how much to pack etc. Its catchy. Now if I can get DH & kids excited I'll really be happy.

To answer the OP question: I make list of things that I have to do/pack/call.
Ps are almost all set.
It's a little to early to start waking the kids up with THE question ....."how many more wake ups?" another month or so.
I read alot, anything disney, online, travel books, kids old journals heehee.

We're going in June too!! We're driving from MN and planning to stop in Savannah on the way down and Clearwater Beach on the way home, so I've been researching hotels, things to do etc. Have done hundereds of lists (I love lists). Packing list, food list, stuff for car, restaurants to try, things to see etc (a list of my lists )
The big thing thats making the time fly is having a garage sale! I've been gathering stuff for weeks. Incentive for some spending money & spring cleaning all at once.

Call me crazy, but... when I read the part about "praying that DW shows up somewhere on the TV" I was a bit confused for about a second. I laughed. Doesn't "DW" mean "darling wife"?

We are going in July and I can't wait. But I agree w/one of the other posters....the sooner it gets here, the sooner it's over. I usually go up to the mall on the weekends to the Disney Store and shop for little stuff for our trip like bathing suits for kids, beach towels, Mickey Mouse tote bags, etc. And I'm on this board passing time during the day and I am also driving my family crazy by watching my DW Vacation DVD a lot.

I'll be there June 12-17th. I am on here looking for tips and ideas all the time. I have been hitting the Disney Store clearance to find t-shirts. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on. I just want June to hurry up and get here.
