Passing the time "till June

We're going 6/11-6/19. Someone else posted they pick something up each weekend for the trip, I liked the idea so that's what I have been doing. It doesn't need to be an expensive something, last week I bought a scented soap to take (I always by something like pina colada or margarita, this time I bought apple martini, it smells so good I'm tempted to break it out early :teeth: ). My DD went on disney.com and downloaded screen savers that she customizes by adding how many days we have left. Everyday before she goes to school she changes the screen saver, she does this since we can't use the countdown clocks anymore.

Our June trip seems like it's taking forever. Any suggestions for passing the time? I'm here alot so that's a start. Anything else?
My trip first trip to WDW is June 2nd. Weather shouldn't be to hot yet from what I have heard. To pass my time till the time to go is I read a travel book, went over with my kids the video clips of the rides from the disney world website to get an idea of what they would like to ride. I wrote down what rides I want to see and had my kids write down what they wanted to see. I made the priority seating reservations, the golf tee times. I have modified my package like 3 times already. I go to all these websites and just read about different things. Going to make a travel journel for my kids. Go shopping buy a new outfit for you or your kids. Watch some favorite disney movies. I work at an elementary school too, I get good ideas from students and teachers. Write up some itineraries. I have a 4 hour plane ride there and will need to makeup kid backpacks with fun stuff. I feel I have plenty to do in the next month and 3 weeks. :) Never to early to start buying things the night before will soon be upon us and thank goodness walmart is open all night but hey I'd rather be in bed.

Hope you have a great time.

The really really exicted mom!

My family and I are flying in from SLC at 2:16pm we are staying at the Contemporary. I will be celebrating my mom's 57th birthday for the trip. I haven't packed yet but done everything else. I have to fly to NC in 2 weeks but I'm sure when I get back those bags will be staying out. Hehehe! The DH thinks I'm crazy too.

I hope you have a great trip and a wonderful birthday!

Waiting for June 23 to get here! I pass my time by hanging out here on the DIS boards and making my personalized Disney Vacation Travel Guide! Since I have three papers due over the next two weeks, that will help get about 14 of those days out of the way. Time never stands still when there's an assignment due! However, there is SOME excitement in waiting, because you know it's still coming. I won't like it as much when I'm counting the days since I've returned home... :sad2:

Our family of 9 is going June 18-26th.

I'll have my loveBond on my backpack or shirt and looking for others w/green or their Dis names.

I LOVE planning it all-but don't really like making a whole lot of PS w/the nine of us--so many of us, some like doing things different than others.

Have planned to do several, but will call when there. Made one character breakfast @ 1900 to see Ms. Poppins, but other than that will wait.

Love getting the mini sizes of everything and I have to try and find the ziploc handled bags...we don't have the store they listed purchasing @, but the rest is too much fun!

Can't wait, but sure hope it seems like we're there for forever!
