Passenger Travel Information

Hi :)

Just had a quick question that I know someone on here will know the answer to...

My mum and dad had to fill out passenger travel information forms for Thomas Cook (that's who they are flying with). They were told that the airline now need passenger information for all flights going into the US. I think it is similar info to an ESTA. I asked Thomas Cook the other day why I had not received mine and the lady looked confused and then said as I was flying with Virgin they don't require this information.

Can I trust the TA and this is right? I already have my ESTA applied for so I think it should all be ok but I just wanted to check!

TIA

Have you booked a package with Virgin Holidays? As far as I'm aware, if you have a package booked, VH use that info to populate your Advance Passenger Information (API). The only info they wouldn't have is your passport number etc. which they would obviously get when you check in. We normally do flight only so we provide our API on the website when we book our seats. When we've booked with VH, we haven't had to provide API in advance of checking in.

We book Fly Drives with VH and have been required to give API.

Thank you for your responses!:flower3:

We have booked a package with Thomas Cook but are flying with Virgin.

I will probably give VA a ring directly and see what they say. I did try to book seats and stuff online but TC don't release names to VA until 6 weeks before hand so I have no reference number for doing anything online.

Anyone in the same situation as me not given VA their info and got on ok?
