DW and I are meeting our adult daughter at the airport Hilton and taking Disney transport in the morning. We have a port arrival time of 10:30, boarding group 5. Our younger daughter lives in Florida and will be driving but couldn't get a port arrival time before 12:30. Obviously we would all love to board together. Would she be able to check in at the port earlier or will we have to wait in the terminal for her.

I believe they are not allowing early arrivals for testing, so, if you want to board with her, you may need to wait until her time to arrive.

For our sailing this past Friday, one room had an arrival time of 10:15-10:30 and we had 10:45-11:00. We arrived around 10:20 and they allowed us to stay. It wasn’t busy at all, so I’m sure that had some bearing on it. If the time was far apart, I doubt they would allow it.

This was PRE-COVID. My inlaws arrived with us, and they had a later PAT. They let them in with us. We could have just gotten a more lax cast member. I am sure things have changed.

At least the web site seems very clear that you can only arrive within your assigned arrival time or yiu will be turned away. and they say there is no where to wait so yiu must leave the area. But we haven’t been on a ship for two years. We are leaving May 8 for the transatlantic. We are platinum and could only get 12 15 even though I checked in as soon as i could. Now I’m stressing in case any of us picks up a bug before we go to the port. It used to be a happy time to look forward to getting to the terminal and onto the ship as early as possible.

Putting aside PAT, she will also have a much later boarding time. If you want to board together you’ll have to wait for her group to be called.
