DD and I did something similar last year - we made a list of all the Disney movies we own and tried to watch as many as we could in the 3 months leading up to our trip

We're doing the same thing now. Didn't get to watch any this weekend (busy, busy, busy!) but planning on watching all 4 Shrek movies in 3D next weekend. Yes, I know, it's not Disney but we are going to US too so it counts as a vacation-prep movie! :)

I watched all the Pixar movies last year before our trip, but I havent done anything yet this year.

Has anyone seen (or is anyone planning to go see) Finding Nemo in 3D? I'm planning on going Thursday evening...hopefully my schoolwork will cooperate with me.

I hope to make a day trip and see it with my 3 y.o. ;)

What comes in Mickey Mail? All I'm aware of are the DME luggage tags. Anything else?

Lol. I dont even know, first time staying onsite. I just know it comes at 30 days out. And it has something to do with your trip, so of course it's exciting! :lmao:

Not sure. We saw Lion King in 3D and the 3D felt pretty unnecessary. But I could see the fish making it easy to do some cool things, the jellyfish scene jumps to mind. May have just talked myself into seeing it. :thumbsup2

I'd love to but it is not one of my 3 year olds favorite movies. It would be a waste of money!

I want to start watching marathons of Disney movies but the only chance I get is when one comes on Disney Jr. I swear, Landon has a scary addiction/obsession with Doc & Jake! It's all we watch lately!

The thing about Nemo 3D that appeals to me is that since Nemo was computer animated originally, they can add 3D much easier than something animated by hand (Lion King) or something shot with film but not with 3D cameras originally (The Avengers). And, the 3D that they add to Nemo should appear to be much more natural, since they aren't manipulating images post-production (they're rerendering the whole movie).

The best analogy I can think of: think of a recipe that doesn't come out right...you can try and add seasoning after the meal is cooked (but still doesn't always come out as if it was seasoned correctly from the start), or you can start over and make it again from scratch.

Our trip is December 10-19. I have an ADR for the Le Cellier Candlelight Processional for Dec 15th - lunch at 3:30pm, but our plans have changed for that night. We will not be able to go to Processional or Illuminsatons that night, but will be on another night. I have been stalking the website for a cancellation for Le Cellier lunch on 12/15 (and it doesn't have to be the same time) because I really want to eat there. Do you think I could request a change in the resturatnt to omit the Processional Package when arriving/paying or should I keep stalking to find a regular ADR for lunch? If I can't find one, what would you do?? I hate to use 2TS credits for just lunch and no package.:confused3

Will they include DME tags if you are just riding it after vacation, back to MCO? Or does the resort give you your tags for the trip back to the airport?

They should mail them to you. They mail both legs.

I just snagged a 1:30 reservation for Le Cellier on 12/12/12. I had a 2:25 reservation but it was too close to my BOG dinner......

....so the good news is there should be a 2:25 Le Cellier opening for 2 on 12/12/12

The tags that have your resort listed on them are for your arrival at MCO so they can spot the bags in the sea of luggage and know which resort to take them to. I have never only taken ME one-way, so don't know for sure that they won't send these yellow tags, but you wouldn't need them if you're not taking ME to WDW

You will still get the booklet that has the paperwork regarding ME. In that you would only have a page for your return trip

The only bag tags you need on the way to MCO are the airline tags for checked bags with your final destination

I was shocked at the reaction I got. I didn't mean to start an uproar...

I wasn't - anything that is even slightly against T&Cs is jumped on along with anything considered 'unethical'. I saw your thread and I was  The DIS is split into two groups: a) Disney is a part of life OR b) Disney is a way of life :rotfl:

I thought those cards were cool I liked the artwork, a nice keepsake.

We're going! I love that movie :) When it first came out my DD (3 I think) watched it over and over. We went to our local grocery store and there were these cool little signs that said 'looking for Nemo? Follow us' and you had to hunt around the store for the signs. When my daughter saw it she was so excited, hunting down the signs with its pretty Nemo pictures, clapping everytime she found one. It was really fun, the anticipation ... we came to the end and found a huge colourful cutout. We had found Nemo!! There was a huge arrow .... pointing at .... the fish counter!!!!

I kid you not. My daughter cried. I think about it now and its hilarious :rotfl:

Unfortunately no. It was booked as a CP package so it will be charged as one regardless of whether you turn up for the CP event or not.

Have you called Dining to see what your other options are?

Hmm, I'm underwhelmed. I think the lunch options I heard sounded more appealing. It sounds like this will be another TS where you eat there for the experience, not the food.

I am surprised by how small the menu is. I do love cornish game hens though.
