:)

Loving that latest biog's.

Nice to meet you Destructsean & EeyoreJen.

Such special trips for you both!

EeyoreJen - my DD is 11 too :)

I told him you said your family wouldn't lose you. And he said, not even if they wanted to. :rotfl2: I am still thinking about the shoes. The problem is, I do wear sneakers a lot on the weekends and I am not sure I am brave enough to wear those anywhere but WDW. But for $30, I could consider getting them just for the trip. He did approve the other ones on that page--the black with the hot pink trim.

Love your hubby's sense of humour :lmao: :lmao:

The black ones are nice too!! Go try them on, I thought they were really comfortable.

Post #3 update with new Roll Callers!

Today, we feature:

Destructsean

&

EeyoreJen

Go read and then drill them with more questions! hehe

I like the bios guys. Especially the answers about the snacks.

Destructsean, it seems we'll have to come up with a new wager. Looks like the Bruins won't open up against the Flyers, after all.

I love sports, but don't really follow hockey. You two were the first thing I thought of when I heard about the lock-out.

I've got a question for those of you going in early to mid December, are you putting up your live Christmas tree before or waiting until after. We always go and buy a tree the day after Thanksgiving and decorate it that Sunday. My DH wants to wait until we get back from Disney this year to put up a tree. :( I want to put it as usually and have someone stop by and water it a few times. What are your plans?

Not doing a tree this year! We take turns doing Christmas at different family houses. This year it's at my SIL's house. We'll have a tabletop at Disney but not one at home. I'm pretty sure DS10 will be okay with that. ;)

Your whomps crack me up. :goodvibes Now when you wake up tomorrow, you need to play the "in 2.5 months" game, not the 3 months game!!!!

Haha! Yup!

I also found another thing for us to do during our trip. Apparently, you can get pixie dusted for free at Castle Couture in MK. That's been added to our list. I'm not sure if I'll do it, but I know my partner wants to.

We don't get a live tree so ours will go up as normal on Friday or Saturday of that weekend. I think you should continue your tradition of Thanksgiving weekend if you have someone to water it for you. Plus, when you get back from Disney you will be busy getting back into regular life and getting ready for Christmas, so it would be nice to already have the tree up and decorated.

 I'm so doing that!!

I was seriously going to say, I bet WedgieSock would do that!!!! I don't think I am quite that fun. :rotfl2:

We get our tree in early Dec. And If I'm going away, I make arrangements to have it watered. But I make sure it's unplugged for safety reasons. If the person I asked to check on it let me down, the tree can be rehydrated by making a few vertical incisions in the stump (from bottom to waterline), just deep enough to get through the bark. About 1/8-1/4". That will help. :thumbsup2 You'll notice that the tree will start sucking up water again.

We're putting all of ours up the weekend before Thanksgiving. I know a few will be upset by that because it's not even December but our two main reasons are: we have two really big trees (12ft and 9ft) plus garlands and wreaths galore and we'll be gone the first weekend of Dec. at WDW so will love to come back to a fully decorated home :goodvibes

I think the more you can accomplish before any major vacation (yes, for us a 5 day vaca is major) and especially around the holidays the better you'll feel upon returning. Nothing ruins the good vacation vibes like stressing about holidays or getting things done...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ::yes::

I've always grown up with an artificial tree cuz my Mum is allergic to pine (my parents weren't thinking when they chose Georgia to settle, its full of pine and when they pollinate in spring my Mum can't go out!)

We have always put our tree up Dec 1st.

A little less than 3 months now... :cool1: When I told my DH that yesterday he said, "by the time you know it it'll be -9 days since vacation." That's so true our countdown has been so long that by the time we know it we've been there and back already! My how time flies!::yes::

Boston Market. Do you have those in GA? Rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole. Their other sides are good too, but I went carb heavy today.

We do have those and now I want that lol Carbs are awesome, they are my friend, I don't care what the diet plans say :p

70 days left!!! Time just seems to be dragging for me lately... It feels like all I do lately is clean the house, cook and drive back and forth to school/sports activities. :( So. Sick. Of. It! I wish I had some planning left to do, but I think I'm about done. All I have to do is purchase the MVMCP tickets, and print out my packing list from last time.

I'm loving my ticker though! Tinkerbell is flying pretty fast this time since we booked at 3 months out versus the 9 months I had to wait on our last trip!
