My amazing boyfriend just gifted us with a trip to WDW for our anniversary!! Our anniversary was yesterday and I'm still in shock I think...

We just returned from WDW in June having taken our first semi-blended family trip with our kiddos (he has 2 and so do I) and now we're going back - JUST THE TWO OF US!! I can't tell you how excited I am, but also a little scared... the kids will not be happy LOL... oh well, I'm armed to deal with the pouts.

We're coming in Dec. 1 - Dec. 5, staying at the Hilton at DD.

This will be an incredible trip for sure - I've ALWAYS wanted to do WDW as a couple, I think it's a very romantic place and now we're going to do it!

Congratulations!! WDW without the kids is so much fun! :-)
Enjoy your trip!

I was against going to MVMCP this year because our DD is young, but these fine folks (pointing to you all) convinced me to go. I am looking forward to the 'snow' and parades and all that JOY!

just got off Facebook with Jeff and we decided to do the Party. He agrees that we should go and enjoy the holiday's at Disney and that includes the party. Know I get to spend the next two month's waffling on either Sunday (Dec 2) or Tuesday (Dec 4).

Thinking really hard about doing the Christmas party now. With us going down to a party of 4 instead of 6, it takes the price down over $100 to do it. Or, debating doing the Pirates & Pals fireworks cruise since that would be considerably cheaper now as well. So undecided, lol. :faint::scratchin

We actually dropped our hopper tickets as when we got down to the planning, we were only gonna hop once, maybe twice, so I re-jigged our schedule to no hopping which saved us $297 (party of 5) which I put towards the MVMCP cost of $318.95 :)

Just need to update my dates.. we added Dec 5-9 at SSR then to BWV 9-15 which is already on the roll call so excited we were able to extend our vacation!!!!! :)

Apparently I was having a moment this morning I meant dec 6-9 at SSR.

We did the same thing :-)

snow ugg no snow (we live in Minnesota) don't need to see snow in Florida :rotfl2::rotfl2: I am pretty sure we will go it just seems wrong to go to Disney during the holidays and not go to the party. I think our biggest fear is that we will start to compare it too the Halloween party. But I do love hot cocoa and cookies.:stir: see my guy is already making hot cocoa.

You won't be disappointed. Sure, we mainly go just for the ho-cho and cookies (yeah, right ;) ) . But seriously, the option of which parade you want to see, the non-existent lines, Holiday Wishes, the Tomorrow-land stage show is pretty cool and of course, the character meet n greets. But when you are on Main St., with the decorations and the snow(p), you forget that you paid for a hard ticket and are lost in the atmosphere.

This is probably what I am most excited about. I will probably be bawling like a little girl when they light up the castle. I cried when watching the You Tube videos LOL. The whole thing looks absolutely magical.

After you lay the floor down, you should lay a piece of plastic on top of it and paint a giant Mickey on it...just to see your everyone's reaction :)

Thats the thing, I'm trying to save costs (what with the upcoming Disney trip) and I saw this fab little money-saving tip on the DIY channel. When I pulled up the carpet, I found pretty good plywood underneath so we are actually painting that. I got a chocolate brown colour. All materials cost $102 (primers paint sealers trim etc) and I really think it will look good. DH was talking about getting his router and routing out a giant Mickey Head :rotfl2:

Then, in the new year I can decide which flooring I want. That's part of the problem, I don't know what I want down but I just had the urge to pull up the carpet :p I really should stop watching the DIY channel .... my kitchen counters are looking very tempting :rotfl:

Step away from the kitchen counters!!! You need a less destructive project. :rotfl:

Love your cross-over bag!!

Thanks I got that at a "Ross" dress for less store 15 dollars, I love that store, I actually saw the bag at the nine west store for 69 dollars. All the cross over bags should be going on sale though there more of a summer bag

Edit to let everyone interested in the bag it's called nine west Minnie cross body bag, I thought it was cute Minnie written like that instead of mini.
