Nope, staying put at AoA :).

Cool, thats what I would have done. AoA is all nice, new & shiney :)

Wow you must be my DH's long lost sibling. He always starts projects on the weekends with good intentions, then leaves that room a half-done mess. :rotfl:

:teeth: yeah, I didn't plan it so well. I just had this sudden urge to pull the carpet up but didn't think about when we'd have the time to paint it. DH just rolled his eyes lol

Okay experts, question.

I think I remember seeing it one way or the other on here, but if its a MVMCP night, is it more or less crowded at MK in the am? We won't be attending MVMCP, had MK planned for the morning of 12/2 then heading over to DHS in the evening to see the Osborne Lights and use the evening EMH there. But if MK is going to be more crowded on that day maybe I should switch that with my AK day, Dec 1 (which is also the Xmas taping)?

It is less crowded during the days of MVMCP. I would most definitely avoid MK on xmas taping day .... it will be crazy :crazy2:

So excited this morning, not only do I get a pumpkin spice latte, it marks my DOUBLE DIGIT DAY! we will leave for Disney in 99 days andcheck in is in 101....that is only 2 days of driving and I cant wait....:cool1:

It is much less crowded on a party day. So much so that you can generally fit far more in even with shortened hours. Of course, you miss MSEP and Wishes. But, if you're planning two days at MK you should definitely make at least one a party day.

Having said that, the parade taping can totally counteract that. I'm not entirely certain how it affects actual ride times, given that most people will be lining up to get on tv. But the park will definitely be busier.

Hey you :) Good but busy week. Totally failed on painting my dining room floor though :rotfl: I'll do it next weekend, I promise. I also promise not to pull up anymore carpets :teeth:

Meant to ask you - did you change your resort in the end?

HA!!!! No Mickey head painted on the floor, yet? :rotfl2:

Only debating one more change...I'm worried if we'll have enough time in Epcot, so I'm thinking of rearranging park days.

I'm thinking of moving our Seas Aqua tour from Wednesday to Tuesday, and doing Epcot that morning, too (as of now we hop from MK to Epcot for the tour, and head back to MK after the tour). We'd keep the O'Hana reservation for Tuesday dinner, and then head to MK for MVMCP that evening. It'd also give us all day Wednesday in MK. I know it makes for a long day on Tuesday, but I'm thinking the aqua tour will be somewhat of a relaxing break built into the day. And the only ADR we'd lose would be Crystal Palace breakfast (currently scheduled for Tuesday AM).

It'd make Wednesday flow much better, and give us a few extra hours in Epcot (as of now we only have one day there, plus a few hours on arrival day).

I am conflicted on this one, so I don't know how much help I will be. 1) You have CRT pre-park opening ADR on Wed, so losing CP isnt that big of a deal, unless you love Pooh. 2) You wouldn't really have much time in MK before needing to leave for the Seas Tour, BUT it is a party day so it wont be as crowed and you should be able to get several things done that morning. 3) Are you "I want to explore the pavilions in Epcot or I want to hit the big rides only" kind of people? If you think you want to explore more, than you need more time in Future World. We skipped a lot in Epcot that I think we will try to hit this year. 4) This change still doesn't make our schedules match up any better. :(

Ok how about this--change the Seas Tour to Tuesday at noon. You will have already been to Epcot, so you would know if you want more time there or not. If you feel like you are done with Epcot, you can still go to the MK, then to the Seas Tour, then to MVMCP. The only thing would be the ADR, but you could just eat breakfast at AoA that morning, or sleep in a bit.

My current scheduling dilemma after talking about the plan with DH this weekend----He wants to play more mini golf!!!!!!!! Ummmm we have mini golf in Ohio. I need to stop asking for input. :rotfl:

Good Monday Morning ! In 12 weeks at this time we should be just about to check in at POP!!!! Ok that is if I counted right, lol. I'm starting my morning with coffee, pumpkin put spice creamer and my Tigger mug .... We have nice fall temperatures today and I'm hoping our days in WDW feel just like this

:offtopic: Shhhh do you hear that .... that is me being able to read the disboard and not worry if someone is going to come downstairs and read what I am reading. Surprises were so much easier when the kids could not read :rotfl2:

Jeff and I are still on the fence about the christmas party. We keep saying we should try it then in the next sentence we are like why. I hate waffling sure wish I could make up my mind.:confused3

Here's my opinion..

If money isn't tight, and you can afford to do it, go for it!

The party we went to was really nice. The crowds were so much smaller, we got to walk onto pretty much any ride.

Also, the snow falling on main street while eating a cookie and drinking hot chocolate was worth the price of admission alone for me. :goodvibes

You know, that's what I'm envisioning for the party for us, too! It will be nice if the lines are short, too, but I think what you said is what I really want to get out of it.

Totally. I read all the time people complaining "all you get is a cookie & hot cocoa for that price". They just don't get it. Its about so much more than that.

snow ugg no snow (we live in Minnesota) don't need to see snow in Florida :rotfl2::rotfl2: I am pretty sure we will go it just seems wrong to go to Disney during the holidays and not go to the party. I think our biggest fear is that we will start to compare it too the Halloween party. But I do love hot cocoa and cookies.:stir: see my guy is already making hot cocoa.

We went to the Halloween party last year - absolutely LOVED it, so yes, I see what you are saying. I am a huge Christmas freak though .... we're the house that takes down the local power grid with our outside lights .... so seeing all the characters in xmas garb and the xmas parade will be worth it for me. Yep, wanna find me? Look for the crying lady with the LGMH who's with a lady in the ECV covered in xmas lights :teeth:

But do you sit outside in the snow wearing shorts and a t-shirt? :teeth:

That's exactly why we're passing on it - we love the Halloween party and it just won't be the same. If we had more time, we would still do it. But everything is a tradeoff and we decided to see more resorts and spend more time with the Epcot Holiday Storytellers. :)
