So I'm sitting at work trying to figure out "Peddlers Village" - sitting there- thinking it sounds so familiar!! Well a little googling and I've been there! I used to go out to New Hope a lot when I lived in NJ.... Now I have an urge to go to Marsha Browns!

I can't wait to get something apple-y at town crier bakery!! lol

Nope, not first. This is my 8th! Love Disney World. Its always been different though, first went when I was a kid - 12, dating future hubby, my honeymoon, new in law family, when my first DD was 2, then when she was 7, last year when my dd's were 2 and 10 and this time the 4 of us, my FIL, my BIL & SIL. So excited for SIL. She went at 6 but remembers nothing. So like her first time. She is 27, but I've made/bought "tink" gifts for her and my kids. Lol!

I'm planning everything and making her an itinerary book.

Some info on my trip:
I have 6 day MYW, no Hopper tickets
Staying in 3 bedroom condo
We booked the trip way before FLE open date so I had no idea, but I'm hoping it won't be too insanely crowded!
I was lucky and got BOG for dinner on 12/8 on first morning you could call.
Got the rest of my ADRs at 180 days.
I scheduled Epcot (princess lunch) on 12/5, day before TT opens. :-( Hoping for soft open.
According to easyWDW, I pretty much picked the wrong Parks for 4 out of 6 days. Oh well. Lol!! I usually plan a lot and we are rope drop to close most days. But, never have planned by park day crowd, just try to go in off season.

So excited, can't really think about anything else!

So I'm browsing amazon - thinking about getting a polarizing and warming filter for the trip... And a headband that matches my new dress....

I'm also still looking for shoes to go with the dress...

I think all the "pass holder previews" will help with crowds... I think that will help reduce a lot of the "locals"

I think I picked a lot of wrong park a lot of days too. However, it's vacation, it's not a peak week and the real magic of Disney isn't just rides but your family and everything around you :goodvibes:

35 days from right now we will probably be on Magical Express!! :cool1: and our ME tags came in the mail today!

Now I just have tp order photopass - going to do the plus this time. :santa:

I just realized that today is 40 days! Yay!

Work is super slow today and I still have an hour left to go. If this were 40 days from now, I'd be leaving work a tiny bit early to head to the airport. Sigh...
Today is 40 days for me, too. It's a good number, very Biblical. I can't decide if I'm wandering in a Disneyless desert or waiting for my dove to bring me Mickey Mail...

So has anyone been to Tutto Gusto wine cellar in the Italy pavillion? I know you can't make ADRs there but it looks good for one of my nights out with DH...

I have not, but it sounds like fun!
For some reason, I was not aware of the existence of Tutto Gusto. Sounds like a great destination for DH and me. Thanks for the tip!

Epic! That's going straight into my next Disney countdown newsletter (if it's ok with you). We're such a nerdy family- yesterday I texted a math joke to my son in college. All my ringtones are from scifi shows- my husband's is The Imperial March. :darth:

Today I'm getting more serious about my back exercises. On top of the RA I already have, I slipped a disc in my back some time last summer (personally, I think it was the Drop Zone at Great America, sshhh- don't tell my doctor!!). I got a steroid shot and it seems to be working, finally. :worried: Here's hoping it lasts and I can lose a couple of vanity pounds while I'm at it! :thumbsup2

Exactly! I just told DH, the smart thing to do would be to head to FLE after RD. But, we like to see Mickey first, then enjoy the walk down MS, see castle. Get a picture and let the magic wash over you. We aren't missing that. Then we'll head to FLE! LOL!

I like to relax on vacation and I figure WDW isn't going anywhere! The most fun we have is with our girls - watching the magic in thier eyes makes me feel it too. So I go, partake in the Disney "Bubble" and enjoy :flower3: I vacationed with people who are not like that and you know for us it takes away from it. I just want to have fun with my family and hey, if we don't get to do EVERYTHING because it's busy it's ok with me. :upsidedow

...Trying to catch up but there's just sooo much! You guys are chatty! :lmao:
And we are a big gang, too.

I'm starting to think I'll just wait 'til this one gets closed and Part IV starts and jump on the wagon then... and TRY to keep up? :confused3

Plus, now I have like 20 new PTRs I want to read and my own to maintain... :upsidedow
Gawrsh.

Watching my girls and their excitement is my favorite part of Disney, too! They are 7 and 4 and everything at WDW is magical to them, especially the princesses! princess: Of course, it's pretty magical to me too!

Advice please...I was looking at booking a reservation for CP, but I'm not sure if the girls at their age would enjoy it. I'm afraid they might get restless. Has anyone else taken younger kids and if so, what was your experience?

Glad your DS' party went well.

So Santa Goofy is showing up at DHS during OL... Is there confirmation that he'll still be at AK earlier in the day? I don't remember seeing anything about AK in what I read
