Also- Disney outlet not so good... Going to hit online later ;) I was disappointed at first but mostly because the clearance section was barren... Also the store was so picked over :( crazy sales weekend. However made out good at the gap!

We just went to the outlet by us yesterday. Add me to the t-shirt band wagon :teeth: The t-shirts were 2 for $25 or $14.50 each. I bought the "I <3 Disney". The heart is red with a glitter/sparkly look to it. DS picked out a Jack Skellington shirt. DH was going to pick a Mater one, but we could not afford 3 shirts.

We spent the whole day yesterday over at Tanger Outlets to pick up the things we needed for our Disney trip. I FINALLY found a pair of dress pants that had a somewhat tapered look (I can't stand flares, straight, bootleg or trouser legs  Plus they don't look good on me) and a pair of flats. DH bought new sneakers and dress shoes (he was in desperate need of both). No luck finding jeans for him. Most stores don't carry big men's sizes in jeans. DS got two shirts and a fleece jacket in addition to the Jack Skellington shirt.

Overall, we made out pretty good for our trip. I can't believe on Thursday we will be down to 2 weeks !

I am getting SO excited about our trip!! We leave November 28th!! I'm going to make the Lime Green Mickey to wear while we are there. I hope we see other DIS folks wearing them too! We're one great big magical family! I've never seen Disney at Christmas, and combined with the fact that hubby and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage makes it even more special!! Hope to get to talk to some of you while we are there!! Woo Hoo!! pixiedust:pixiedust:

I plan to make one and wear it too, although I am not sure where. Maybe I will just attached it to the bag I have with me. Hope people stop and say hi!

I got $9 capris and some distressed skinny type jeans (never worn this style before) and yoga pants. So excited about the capris for vacation!! I guess I was just disappointed I couldn't find anything in DD1 size. I also really wanted to get fun stuff for the trip and nothing clicked!

Well, if the budget is ok for you, of course I would choose POR because thats where I chose for this trip :goodvibes Plus, as an added bonus for you I'll be there HAAAAAA!

But POP seems like the practical choice .... but practical isn't always the way to go :p

I'll be there too! We booked with FD for Dec 10-17th then I added on a day with a RO discount for the 9th. I haven't read up in the thread so I can't wait to see how it all ended up!

I had heard that, but was still reading some reports of a lot of confusion with this. I think the bottom line is that they really don't have time for everyone to get a photo with Belle, so they aren't being really out front with the information. Which is sort of silly to me. It's going to be interesting to see how this goes when it opens for real, and people KNOW it is open for real. I'm worried they will be under more pressure to keep up the silly pace.

I'm excited about it too and can't wait to see the wardrobe either.

Any idea whether we could hang back and be the last ones out of the wardrobe room and snap a quick photo next to her?

During our AP preview all the kids went up and got photos. I don't think the CM's were very happy but I heard quite a few "but we waited a long time and don't get a photo" and they let everyone get photos.

FWIW: They actually closed the attraction to new guests as the line was too long several times while we were there. It was the longest we have waited for anything in a very long time.

On a positive note, we somehow experienced the shortest character lines ever on the MNSSP on Nov. 2nd. However, had we wanted candy the lines were long. Even my kids realize we can buy candy at the store and don't want to wait in line for it.

We took a photo with the wardrobe but the CM was in the way:rotfl: They fuss around with all the pieces they use to indicate the roles.

What's everyone up to tonight?

DH is off to pick up a pizza and a new camera. I mentioned about a month ago that our camera kind of stinks and DH has been reading lots online since. I am OK with keeping our camera for now because we should really be saving money for the trip/Christmas gifts, but he is like a kid, once it's in his head, he has to get something. :rotfl2: So it looks like we are getting a Cannon Powershot SX260.

DH and I just finished watching Once Upon a Time. Now we have to wait 2 weeks before the next episode b/c of the AMA's :headache: And I just looked at the calendar and realized that is the last ep we will see before we leave for Disney - which will be 4 days later :cool1:

We're just going to take our regular camera with us. DH wants to get another one, but we just can't do it right now. I hear ya about your DH. Mine is a Techie, so of course, he has to have the latest thing that's out there  Thankfully, he likes to dream and not purchase.

DS just got a Bloggie yesterday from the Sony store. We had to talk about that purchase b/c we found out that they are not going to be made anymore, so I was a bit leary about getting it for him. But it's perfect for a 10 year old and he's really enjoying it.

We're arriving the day after you and I will definitely make sure to have my LGMH on! I'll probably be taking care of that this week (next week at the latest). Look for a pink Jansport backpack with it. I'll also have one on my hip pouch.

Ok, I'm dating myself here, but I remember those being popular in the 80's when I was a teenager. I never did get to buy a pair mostly b/c at that point my mom was buying my clothes since I was not old enough to get a job yet. Glad you were able to find what you were looking for.

Feels so GOOD to get Mickey mail!!!!!:thumbsup2

Amen to that! My mom called me this evening b/c she finally got hers yesterday. She was thinking that if DH and I go to the spa, then she would use the discount voucher to take DS to play miniature golf. The only thing we were confused about was that all of the other vouchers are good for up to the number of people in your room. The miniature golf discount is only good for one person  Odd. Unfortunately, we're not doing the spa b/c the cost of a couples massage is too much for us.

I know exactly how you feel. Now I have to make sure I keep track of the envelop and keep my MVMCP cards with it.

I used a zippered pencil case that had two compartments when had tickets for MNSSHP in 2006. One for our MNSSHP tickets (which was see through), and the other was for our wristbands, buttons, etc (that part wasn't see through). It worked out great.

WTH is going on with the Smiley animations? I'm noticing they're working fine in the Smilies tray, but not in the posts. Anyone else noticing it or is it just me?

Yaaaay!
This made me smile today. Thanks for posting; it looks gorgeous ...

I'm wondering about the photo ops, because there will be people like us who really want to participate, but who don't want a photo. DS6 says he wants "to be the guy in jail" or at least a knight, but he's not interested in a picture at all so we'll skip it.

I really hope there's not so many people that they'll close the attraction. I doubt we'll be willing to wait in a line that's more than 30 minutes for Enchanted Tales with Belle. It looks fun, but there's very few things that are worth more than a 30 minute wait for to me, even at Disney.

I have said this before, but I am not this indecisive in real life. :rotfl: I have no idea how you guys picked a resort and never changed it. I havent made a change in awhile and now this. :confused3 I just want to know which plan to obsess over!! :upsidedow

I picked POR from the start.....i did consider WL for our first night, esp with a room only discount....but it was still more $ than I wanted to spend so i applied the discount to our first night at POR.....and that way we don't have to change resorts. It's my first time at POR and I used to follow the POR thread but forgot to subscribe to part 2 and 3 so now I'm very behind! I must admit, I have a feeling that I will want to stay at POR for every trip! I'm in a king room, hopefully in the AB rooms right close to the food court and south bus stop.

Just seen the start time for this year osborne lights start at 6pm, so now I have an issue I need to see Osborne lights before fantasmic which is 6:30, hmm because I have 8:30 ADR for cape may and will be taking the boat. I'm hoping to switch my Chef Mickey dinner to breakfast the day of Hollywood studios so I dont have to leave the park at all and just have dinner at Scifi. I've never seen Osborne lights and do not want to miss it!!

4 weeks from right now, we will be at the 12/9 MVMCP. Going from ride to ride. Enjoying the snow(p) on Main St. And just overall, gasping at the marvel that is the Castle lit up for Christmas.

The 80's are SO back. Old Navy is very 80's at the moment, and my DD11 is wearing lime greens, oranges, yellows, she's wearing lacey fingerless gloves (madonna anybody???) and skinny jeans in bright colours. And she thinks I don't know fashion ... i'm like "Honey, I set the trend for those" ;)

If you can request buildings 14, 15 or 18 - they are the closest to the main building and south depot :)
