I am.

Is anyone else really disappointed that Belle isn't meeting in her Christmas dress this year?![]()
I'm just happy to meet Belle. She's my fav princess from my fav movie. My big disappointment is that I thought one of the rooms at BOG was going to be the library, but it ended up being the Rose Gallery which doesn't even exist in the movie. At least not in that manifestation. I'm also quite looking forward to Enchanted Tales, which is what I intend to do while the family rides BTMRR and SM until they can't walk straight.
But I don't get to WDW often, so my disappointment threshold is set pretty high!
You never know what you will find. The first time we went with free dining, we knew nothing about ADRs and that people made reservations 180 days before their trips!
We made our dining reservations each morning before we went to the park for the day. Knowing nothing about anything, we were going to Epcot, so we picked a steak place in Canada one morning cause it was open.. Turns out...it was pretty tasty.

Are you aware that you need to volunteer for a part in Belle's Enchanted Tales to get a photo with her at the end? Just don't want you to leave disappointed. She is not available to meet anywhere else in the MK.
She is in Epcot in her blue dress in France, and in her yellow gown in Akershus.

I'm glad you opted for Plan B ... I would move from an arrival on the 15th to the 8th in a heartbeat solely for the lowered crowds. If you do have to move, that's supposed to be one of the best weeks this year, since the Pop Warner kids are gone but most kids aren't out of school yet. With only 7 nights I'd probably opt for staying at POP the whole time. Good luck! Hope everything works out for your DH, and soon so you can rebook (or not) easily!Basically I am not sure if my countdown today is at 34 days, 27 days or 370 days.
Plan A----Dec 15-22. Current trip, all planned and paid for.
Plan B----Dec 8-15. Would still get to go this year, but it would not be the trip I planned. No dessert party, Le Cellier or Ohana. I would lose free dining, so we would probably do OOP and do just a couple TS. I have made a few ADRs, not sure what I will keep. This was what we had planned on doing originally until free dining was extended. Kind of excited about the flexibility of this and the ability to eat more snacky foods. Most of the plan would stay the same. Not sure if I can change my MVMCP ticket date. I know I cant get a refund. Would need to decide if I want to pay for them again. Would crunch the numbers again for a different resort, if we are paying less for tips, maybe no party and probably would not do pp+. Airfare is cheaper. Would be there at the same time as many of you,but would not get to meet Jordan, grrrenlyl, molitva and everyone else that is going the next week.
Plan C----Nov 16-23, 2013. It's so far away!!!!! Life is short and who knows what will happen in the next year to prevent me from going. BUT I would be able to plan a trip again. I would definitely stay deluxe. Depending on whether or not my DB gets a full time teaching job after graduation or subs next year, he might be able to go. That would be nice, but not something I could plan on at this point. I would try again for BOG and things would be less crazy than this year with all the new openings. Would miss the big MK tree, but I think most of the other decorations would be up. Need to check that schedule of the holiday events.
...
Ok just got off the phone to see what my options are. Confirmed that FD starts on the 10th, so she checked the 10-15 for Pop, Por, Pofq, Csr, WL and AKL and the only one with FD available wad POP. So I could do a room only the 8th and 9th at Pop or somewhere else. I would love to do somewhere else, but I think it might be awful to go from AKL to Pop. Or any deluxe to a value. Would much rather go the other way. She said the room only discounts had expired. I also had her price POR for the 8-15 and for just room and tickets, it is $400 more than my current package at Pop and then we would have to pay for food OOP. As much as I would love to do WL or AKL for the whole week, it still isnt in the budget.
So now it is--
Plan X----POR for the week. No moving. More money. No dining plan--flexibility to eat what I want.
Plan Y----2 nights at AKL (or Pop or somewhere else) and then 5 nights of free dining at Pop. We will have the annoyance of changing resorts, but will get to experience 2 resorts. If I did Pop, it would just be the cost of food for 2 days. AKL and WL would be $500 more, plus food for 2 days. POR would be $100 more, plus food. AoA would be an option too.

I have never had a massage! Up until a few months ago I never thought I could have someone other than my husband touch my feet!I had my first pedicure last June. I'm still a little weirded out by the whole thing but I know dh would love a couples massage. I may have to do something like that closer to home.
I'm glad. But really. Why not just say "if you want a photo get in line". I really don't like game-playing.
Some woman from Disney said:Dear Ms. Evans-Batt,
Thank you for your response.
I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you over the phone regarding Enchanted Tales with Belle. I have personally experienced it with my children and can assure you that this experience is truly a Magical one. After the main characters are chosen, the Cast Member asks if everyone got a part who wanted one. If anyone speaks up at that point, they are given forks and spoons to be part of the enchanted objects in the castle (which is great for those that are a bit shy); and they'll be part of the experience, too.
Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or need further clarification. Once again I'm available Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EST.
Sincerely,
Kimmie DuPont

I do agree which is why I sent an email - it was when that thread on TPaA was live and you asked for everyone to contact Disney. So I did. My big concern was there will be tons of people that don't know how it works so will miss out on the M&G. I got a very nice, personal email back saying that they are listening to all feedback as this is new.
Thanks for writing. I hope they reconsider. Not that it will matter to us. I doubt they'll change anything before our trip and we probably won't be back to WDW for a couple years after that.
That thread just wore me out though. Actually the DIS just wears me out sometimes. So much criticism over little things. So I care that Belle won't be there in her Christmas dress. So shoot me already. Not you...... some of the others on that thread. I'm glad you wrote. I hope others did too.![]()
That's what I was thinking.
Valgoof - with this whole group you'll have plan b worked out real fast!
I'm back from Urgent Care. Nothing is broken but I may have a torn ligament or just a sprain. I'm in a sling for a week. If it's not better I call the orthopedic surgeon.. But I do have percocet.
Sigh. We leave in 28 days! I don't have time for this!!
Thanks everyone for your support..
Valgoof - I'm glad you went with Plan B, We'll be there from the 10th-17th.
Ha! I hear you hunTPaA can be very tiresome .... yesterday was another example with all the Main St Bakery threads.
I'm sad that Belle won't be in her Christmas attire - I've never seen it so was looking forward to it.
Now I really wish I had gotten the matching hot pink sneakers. Lol. I dont know why POR wasnt on my radar earlier. I looked at POFQ, but the food court was just scary. Those masks!![]()
I think it was the size and multiple bus stops, but we will have a car. And it has a regular food court, that was why I didnt choose CSR. And the boat to DTD would be fun. Yes, I have spent my morning on the port orleans thread.
Now I kinda hope we change weeks. If I wait until November, can you imagine how many resort changes I will make??

Good, I'm glad you went in. Falling is a pretty common cause of dislocated shoulders- which it doesn't sound like you quite got, but close! Probably everything will be fine with some rest.
