Those of you who will be there for Christmas day..will you be in a park or what are your plans? We were going to take the boys to see the ocean(about an hour drive) but now I am debating doing that a different day. Actually...lmao..I am debating changing everything right now..UGGHHHH. My 9yr old is most looking forward to Toy Story Mania..but we aren't scheduled to go to HS until Monday(we arrive late Friday). Saturday is not recommended by some of the touring sites. What to do..what to do. Is it normal to be thinking about changing your plans..5days before you leave????

How was the yachtsman? I was thinking of going there on our trip in October but also debating it for our Jan trip with the kiddos.... What was your take on it?

It was very good. I wasn't too keen on the desserts though. Not my cup of tea so-to-speak. But the filet mignon was excellent.

DS10 ate an entire 16oz steak which surprised all of us and some of his dessert. DH also got the 16 oz and had dessert.

We were very impressed that the chef came over to help my brother with picking out what to eat. He can not have any alcohol at all (he's going on 4 years sober next month ) and the chef was letting him know what foods had it. He even had a alternate choice for a sauce on his steak.

We were also very impressed with the coffee. Our server came over with a french press pot that had the coffee beans in it. She then pressed it to give out fresh coffee. My brother loved that. Especially since she left the coffee pot there. It made it so much easier to refill his cup rather than asking for refills all the time.

Overall we had an excellent dinner and would do it again.

I knew they would make it right!! Yaaaaay!!!!

So did I. It was just a matter of giving it some time I can't wait to get the CD and promo code!

We're here!! Yay! Room is great ready when we arrived at 10. DH is a big fan of ME now. He did not really believe our luggage would be here when we came back to the room. Ate lunch at Pop and went to AK for a few hours and will be headed back there soon for Yak and Yeti.

Unfortunately we can't make the evening show because we have La Nouba tickets and the box office isn't open on Sundays so we can't reschedule. But we'll try again Thursday when we're in DHS all day.

We started packing this afternoon and have hit a snag: we're over the baggage weight limit thanks to all the Christmas presents we're bringing!!!

We've got 2 days to figure it all out...

My packing woes were solved by a $50 fee big suitcase is being put in the far far back of storage!!

So, I emailed them the credit card receipt they requested, on either Tuesday or Wednesday evening. I gave it a few days and heard nothing. So I called today and it turns out they just got my email today. They are backed up with emails. Ok, DH is an IT mgr so I can understand that perspective. Anyway, the person I spoke with on the phone said that she will mail out the CD for us and send us the promo code to my email ! We are so happy that we are not going to lose all 156 photos!

We got a little pixie dust at the airport! We were over by 4 lbs., so we readjusted and found ourselves under by 3! We readjusted again (because my husband was literally sitting on one of the suitcases trying to close it) and were over by one. The Southwest agent winked at us and let it go. Whoo!

Joining in really late...we leave on Thursday! We will be there 12/20-12/29 at Port Orleans, French Quarter! This will be our first December/Christmas trip since 2007 and I'm going down to work some CT/Seasonal shifts for the first time since my CP ended in August!

Umm...why yes, I have many packing woes. Apparently long pants and long sleeved shirts take up WAY more space than just shorts and t-shirts. Fitting everything in 2 carry on bags is quickly resembling a game of Tetris. I only have one third of a bag left empty and about 5 pairs of capris/jeans/cords currently in the wash that need to fit into that space. And don't even get me started on trying to fit all our liquids into 2 quart sized bags. The bags are stuffed full and I still have to figure out a way to get sissy's contact lens solution in there! And if we buy ANYTHING there is absolutely no space to pack it to bring home. I SO don't want to check a bag for a 4 night trip, but we may not have a choice...ugh.

No packing woes for us! We're driving down, we can bring EVERYTHING!

found out this morning that I'm allergic to pine . I added water to it yesterday and did so this morning. After I watered it today, I pushed down the branches a little to help make it fuller rather than closed up due to the netting. My right arm was starting to feel a little itchy so I looked at it and found I had a rash. I took a Zyrtec so that has helped with the itching. It's just going to take a little bit for the rash to go away.

One thing I told DH - even though I'm now allergic to pine, there is no way that we are going to get an artificial tree next year! I'll just wear long sleeves and gloves. On a side note, DH also has a reaction from pine, but he wears a sweatshirt and gloves when we get it and put it up. DS10 and I are the ones who put the lights and garland up before we all decorate with ornaments.
