Sitting at the airport gate now. The suitcase that Dh was so sure was overweight was only 37 pounds!! I could have stuffed more in it.

I was so busy yesterday I never had a chance to even read any posts. Woke the girls up this morning and told them I couldn't find Zippy (our Elf on the Shelf). He was waiting for them atop their Barbie dream house with Disney balloons and a sign telling them they were going to Disney. They didn't believe it at first, but then started screaming with excitement. After the events of yesterday, it made the moment that much more meaningful.

So, we are currently sitting on the plane, delayed, because one of the seats has to be repaired. It's not looking great for making our connection in St. Louis. (Insert exploding head icon here). But, sooner or later we will make it to the happiest place on Earth.

Does anyone know if I need to notify ME if we are delayed and give them our new flight info?

If you end up on a different connection you should probably call them. They can tell if a flight is delayed, but would have no way of knowing you ended up on a different flight altogether.

Also, if you have travel insurance you may want to look at the policy, you may be able to get some money back from them if you end up missing a substantial chunk of time due to the delay.

I was so busy yesterday I never had a chance to even read any posts. Woke the girls up this morning and told them I couldn't find Zippy (our Elf on the Shelf). I'd always wanted to stay as I love the Victorian/Edwardian period (makes me think of Titanic ... Jack & Rose ) and all that fluff is part of my background, I'm British so I was excited to go.

But I found the CMs very 'stiff' ... now that may be part of their "character" what with the period etc (I dunno ), but one thing I love about WDW is the warmness of resort CMs and I just didn't get that warm feeling there.

That's the same reason we don't care to stay there... It feels stuffy to us. We do like to visit though and it is a beautiful resort. We have our Xmas card photo from there- the photopass photographers were AWESOME!

I fell in love with the GF the minute my mom and I walked in for our afternoon tea. The CM's at the Gardenview Tea Room were so friendly. I would love to stay there, but DS said he didn't like it.

We didn't feel under-dressed at all there. The only time I did was in the YC. As much as I love the outside, the inside made me feel like I was in a very high class hotel. When I went to my spa appointment, I saw more guests dressed in suits than in plain clothes. I don't know if there was a business conference there or not, but it made me feel like I just didn't belong.

When did you go to the YC? DH and I ended up at the BW a lot with DH late at night. We started noticing a lot of suits on Tuesday. I'm thinking there was either a huge corporate gathering (saw them in Epcot too) or it was a press event, or Disney corporate (maybe for FLE??) We noticed A LOT of security in suits with earpieces, also they seemed to be attracted to our Starbucks coffee cups and kept asking us where to get it...

So, I emailed them the credit card receipt they requested, on either Tuesday or Wednesday evening. I gave it a few days and heard nothing. So I called today and it turns out they just got my email today. They are backed up with emails. Ok, DH is an IT mgr so I can understand that perspective. Anyway, the person I spoke with on the phone said that she will mail out the CD for us and send us the promo code to my email ! We are so happy that we are not going to lose all 156 photos!

How was the yachtsman? I was thinking of going there on our trip in October but also debating it for our Jan trip with the kiddos.... What was your take on it?
