Thanks guys. You're probably right that we're being overly cautious, LOL! I was just at CVS and they actually had the frio packs! So I got one, and I'll give my mom the option of that or first aid, or a combo of the two, whatever makes her happy. It's worth a walk if it gives her peace of mind, ya know?

Absolutely! Any extra convenience just might not be worth it.

Mine must have arrived a day or two ago. Dh found the envelope sitting on his computer desk. Gee. I wonder who put it THERE? I wonder who got the mail and forgot to tell his wife that an awesome white envelope with a BIG GREEN panel at the bottom that says FAST PASS + on it arrived?

That was a rhetorical question........

So, good news is WE HAVE FAST PASSES! Yippeeeeeeeeee!

It seems like I have an awful lot of plastic cards to keep track of. We'll get KTTW when we get there.....I have La Nouba tickets, FP+ tickets, Photopass + card, MVMCP cards........not to mention a ton of Disney GC from Target! Does anyone else think there's a lot of plastic to keep track of?

When you're the "tour guide" the amount of paperwork is phenomenal. On our lengthy trip last summer, I had 20 plane tickets alone to keep track of. Never mind the show tickets, etc. DH doesn't really understand how complicated traveling with a family is, but he does appreciate the effort quite a bit. Actually, the whole family does. I don't think they have ever once complained about anything I did. Maybe they just know better!

Right now I'm just figuring out how to get the most I can onto the ipad/iphone. It was a huge accomplishment to figure out how to get all my Disney reservations in one spot- but I did! I was able to email the entire "Your Reservations" page to my phone in one shot. So I don't have to write down all those ADRs, reservation numbers, etc.

I wish I could get boarding passes on the phone but my little airport doesn't have the technology, LOL. In the near future you'll probably be able to scan in the value of the Disney gift card- or any gift card- to your phone (though I'm not sure I'd trust it entirely).Of course, I'd better keep the phone WELL charged if every single travel arrangement resides on (and only on!) the phone.

I just did my toiletry shopping today... Target had a pretty good selection. They even had little mini banana boat spray sunscreen bottles. Its only a few ounces but it was like $1.99 and seemed like it would be great to tuck in your pocket (or small purse for you ladies).

Less bulk in the park makes me happy! I generally just need to touch up a few spots as the day goes on... and if I can use the spray and avoid looking like a dork with white lines all over me... even better!

Once the reservation lines open back up try searching for "Magic Kingdom" and the date you are interested in....and instead of inputting a specific time for a meal, put either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. See what comes up then. One place I have heard great things about at MK is The Plaza. I've heard their burgers and fries were really good......and going to BOG for the lunch counter service is supposed to be very nice for a cs. That's an option too!

So we've been on the road for about three hours & I just realized I forgot to print up my trip plan excel sheet. Way to go Gretchen! This trip I feel so unprepared! But as my husband says, we're going and that's all that matters!

That's right! You didn't make it a google document, did you? My schedule is on a google document that I can get to from my cell phone.

Yay! Our PP+ arrived in the mail today!
We have a TH ADR first thing on our first day. Will I be able to pick up our card on the way to breakfast (8:20 ADR, 9am park opening) or will we need to stop by DTD on the way from the airport?

Yeah! I got mine too....apparently a couple days ago! No matter, I had already filled in what passes I wanted and from where so now I'm good to go!

Here is a brief itinerary---Kathy, Jordan and anyone else who will be there then. I would love to say Hi if it works out. It will freak DH out, so it may be quick.

12/15 DTD/AK
12/16 DHS/Epcot/DHS
12/17 AK/MK EMH
12/18 resort/MVMCP
12/19 DHS/Epcot
12/20 Epcot
12/21 DHS/MK/Epcot i know it's ridiculous, but it is the last day!

I have no mornings in MK. I may try to go there on 12/16 at rope drop instead of DHS and then go to DHS later for EMH.

So the only overlap we have is on the 16th. We will actually be at MK at RD because we have an 8:20 ADR for Crystal Palace.......then we have a Via Napoli lunch ADR at Epcot at 11:30. We may hang at Epcot after our early lunch if we need to see stuff we missed earlier in the week, otherwise we may go to DTD.....but need to be at Ft Wilderness at 6pm for a Sleigh Ride.

We go home on the 17th

Well, it seems the flu may have landed at our house. Dd 11 has a 102 fever and headache. At least if it runs thru the house this week we should be ok in 3, right?

Been gone a couple of days trying to get pack and ready to go and there is no way I can catch up. I still have to pack toiletries, make sure I have them all, need to go to the store and get Capri leggings along with a few other last minute items tomorrow and right now I guess I have to give DD a bath as she just said come on mommy I need a bath.

Can you try giving everyone some Airborne? Run around the house with Lysol wipes and give everything, especially light switches and door knobs and drawer handles......
