Contemplating a couple fingers of Drambui...or being really ambitious and making some hot toddies. My wife is at a Cake decorating class and should be home in about 20 min. Might meet her at the door with something warm and yummy.

I know. I have never been a 'brand' person .. more of a pink & sparkly person HA! Bronwyn doesn't even know what Coach is ..... shes very much leggings, t-shirt and Ugg type boots. Shes never been girlie, I'm the girlie one.

I sit in carpool some days and I'm like .... 6th graders carrying Coach totes

TELL me about it!!! I just shake my head. Kavu bags here are ALL the rage (thankfully not NEAR a coach though). And ugg "type" they dont have to actually be Uggs, just fuzzy boots. DD 11 has some purple ones.

Hello everyone I know it's been a long time, I have been dealing with school and life . Disney is just around the corner, and I am super excited. My trip has changed, we decided to bring the boys. My babies R 22 months and 5 months. Did a lot of switching around but I think I have it now. Hope everyone is enjoying there week and having fun running around getting everything packed. I have spent the last week changing ADRs and changing plan tickets adding the boys to our resort. Also buying them more Disney clothes and I bought the Disney jr encyclopedia to use as nics autograph book. Thank goodness when I noticed the price drop a month ago on car rentals I made a reservation. Those same car rentals are super expensive now. The only think is to call tomorrow to see if I can schedule nic a first hair cut at the Harmony barber shop, I think we might be cool just walking in thou by some reviews. Cant wait to see how everybody's trip turns out. Wishing Eveanybody a safe travel day and much pixie dust.

Speaking of DH. Last week he ordered a Samsung Galaxy (sed) from Verizon's web site for $150. It came yesterday and he was very happy. Except, the ringer and the phone speaker didn't work (you would think Verizon would make sure the phone "works" before re-selling it) . So he calls Verizon today to see what could be done. Unfortunately, they would need to send him another one via FedEx and he would send this one back. Um, can't do that, we're going to Disney tomorrow. So his only other option was to pay the additional $50 at a local Verizon store and get a brand new one. He goes down to do that and picks up a universal portable power pack to go with it. So now he is all set for our vacation and has even downloaded the Disney Mobile Magic app

I recently got the same phone I love it. Tell your husband touring plans is a great app. it tells you all the accurate waiting time for the ride.

Alright, we are now in our new home. I am just afraid we will move to part 6 while I am away! ahh!!

So excited that some of you have left or are just about to leave!! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Well, I was able to distract DS with a bath and DH got all the luggage out and the car packed. We are cuddling and watching Aladdin right now -- on ABC Family.

I'm waiting to shower, watch Nashville and do a last once over around the house and I will be set!

Oh my goodness! So many people leaving- or about to! Have fun all you lucky December early birds.

Well, today I found out that my dog needs a titanium implant in her knee- the surgery is tomorrow. It's also going to cost as much as my week at the YC. Suddenly, I don't feel so bad about splurging a little at Disney! But my Disney plans are all taking a backseat to my worries about the pooch. I just can't make her wait until we get back from Disney, but I'm going to worry about her the whole time we're gone.

People have been getting e-mails from TA's! I'm so bummed we're arriving at the second part of our split stay on Dec 9, not on Dec 11 ...

The dates are Dec 11-15 for those of you who are. Hope some of our gang gets invitations!

As soon as I'm done posting this, I'm running over to my travel email account and checking in! Thanks for the heads up.

It may seem odd to have a travel email account, but I really do have to make a TON of airline reservations with the vacations we take and having two kids going to college far away. Earlier this month I had 13 outstanding airline tickets to track. Now I'm down to 10! With so many reservations for all kinds of things when we travel, I can't keep track any other way.

Wow. This does seem a bit excessive and like its setting her up to want brands she may not be able to afford later ... my brother's current GF bought me a Coach purse for my wedding and I'm afraid to use it because I don't like the idea of being identified as someone who could afford something like that. So the only time I take it out is when we stay at the Grand Californian so then I feel like I "blend".

Don't worry about it. Unless you buy a Birkin, someone is always going to have a more expensive brand and someone else will have a less expensive brand. I used to really want this or that designer bag, but once I got them, it's like eh, no biggie. Nice but I don't think anyone really cares all that much. If they do, it's their problem. If you have something nice, use it! Otherwise, why have it?

I have to day coach bags wear well. I have one that is about 8 years old and it's a classic style and looks great. There is wear on the buckle but that's barely noticeable. I'm not a big coach person but I will say the quality is great.

I once had a Coach bag and the turn lock on it broke. Coach fixed it for free- not too many companies will do that.

But the reason why I'm not a more of a Coach fan is that it's hard to find a bag of theirs that doesn't scream "Coach". For a little more, I really prefer Cole-Haan. Talk about great quality. After Cole-Haan it seems like there is a huge gap where bags cost a lot more but aren't any better in quality, until you get to the really high-end stuff like LV. The nice thing about Coach and Cole-Haan is that they are leather-goods companies, not just some designer that slaps their name on something and charges three times more than everyone else for something that will fall apart in a year.

Well, today I called Garden Grocer and put in our order, but was very unhappy to find that they were out of the coffee pods! I guess I can buy some here (maybe, I have no idea if I can get them out here in the boonies). The lady there called me back and confirmed the order right away, very pleasant to work with. If worse comes to worse, they do have Starbucks Via, so we'll survive.

On the whole brands subject... The clothes that my in-laws buy DS are nuts. I didn't set foot in a Nordstrom until I was in my mid-20's and they get the bulk of his clothes there... It's crazy to think about the $$ they spend on kids clothes. He does look cute, though.

I grew up in a town where our clothing options were K-mart and Fashion Bug. When the Wal-Mart opened, the K-mart closed. Had to drive 45 minutes to a mall.
