Parks in what order?

In what order do you do the parks if you end up going to them all over a trip?

We only did three last time and will only be doing three this time. I plan based on crowd calendar and ADRs. Plus I have to take into account my dh's request for a late start our first morning. So this year we are doing Epcot, MK, MK, day off for two of us to do Perfectly Princess Tea while the other two tour park of their choice, then AK. (We like MK and it has so much to do that we have always made it a two day park.)

If those weren't a consideration and I wanted to do all four parks and had just four days, I would probably do Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studios, then Magic Kingdom. If I had five days, I would do MK, Epcot, AK, HS, MK. If I had six days, I would do the same and keep the last day open to return to my favorite of the parks.

DHS for fantasmic and Osborne lights
Animal kingdom morning & MK MVMCP evening
Epcot illuminations dessert party
Tour the resorts day and shopping : )
DHS
Animal kingdom taking the early morning safari from AKL
Magic kingdom with dessert party for wishes
Pool day & Epcot

Looks like 3 MK days, 3 Epcot days, 2 animal kingdom days and 2 DHS

MK to start & finish but other than that it depends on what day of the week we get there & the park hours/EMH after that so flexible where Epcot, AK, & HS fit into the trip. I will add that we spend the most time at Epcot & MK, HS the least, and love AK but it never seems to be more than a 1/2 day at a time place for us - even if we do a couple days here it's always early mornings and done by 2-3ish.

My family tours the same way. If we spend a half day anywhere, we then usually finish up the day at MK. We like to spend as much time in MK as possible.

We love MK to. We usually stay 7 nights and I know we go to MK probably 5 out of the 7. We always do hopper tickets for this reason to. Just so we can go to Mk everyday if we wanted. But according to crowd calendars Sat is a no for MK and Mon is a great day from what I have noticed. And AK always got a go for a Sat. I am now trying to plan our days in Sept./Oct. and I don't even know where to start.

This is our first visit so I am doing it by crowd calendars...but it works out that first and last full day are at MK!

We go with crowd calendars, any special events/ activities etc... so it changes from trip to trip.
Currently, our December plans are:
Epcot, AK, DHS, MK, resort day, MK, Epcot, and the last day open for whichever park we most want to return to.

We always do all 4 Parks and we always have Park Hoppers, so we hit every Park multiple times. Really no rhyme or reason other than:
MK always the first and last day.
Epcot is always our last night Park.
Depending on the weather, our mood, EMH...etc. we schedule the rest. We don't ever spend a day from beginning to end in one Park.
Some days we go to AK in the morning and Epcot at night.
Some days we go to DHS in the morning and mini-golf or DTD at night.
We like to mix it up.

I do all four parks and use hoppers. I use crowd calendars to decide what park(s) what days but I like to start at Epcot and end at MK my last evening. I like to go during F&W and frequently hop to Epcot from my daytime park.

The one thing I would suggest is that if you are going with young children for their first trip, don't do MK first. What I have seen happen with some families is that the children then expect all the parks to be like MK, and are disappointed with the others. I think it works better in that situation do do MK last.

My favourite park is AK, so I always start with it and end with it.

3 years ago I did 1 park per day on a whirlwind trip... Arrival day was HS (we were in park by 2), then Epcot, then AK, finishing with MK- RD till pm emh in Epcot and MK (3-4 hr break mid day). DTD for dinner/shopping after AK (early breakfast in park till 4). It was a great trip, but we were wiped out! My daughter (6 at the time) slept on the airport floor on departure day she was so tired!
This trip we are going for a week...
Ep-HS-MK (evening DTD)-MK (am off/ in park from 4-10 for CRT and msep)- Ep (am)/Mvmcp (4 hr rest before party)-ak-MK. I'm using crowd calendars and going on highly or most recommended days with the exception of our last day- no emh the whole trip. Kids really want to end with MK, even though it is highly NOT recommended that day. We plan to be there early and leave right after lunch to start our long drive home...

We typically land in Orlando sometime after noon, so we always head to Magic Kingdom for our first park. It's a tradition to walk down MS USA at the start of our trip. Our second day is usually HS in the morning and Epcot at night. AK on the 3rd day for morning and Epcot at night. After that, we typically spend every night at Epcot and alternate mornings between the other three parks.

Newb to WDW so I followed EasyWDW calendar and mixed it up with water parks and a day offsite so its an actual vacation.

For example our first day is MK and it closes at 11pm and the next day we do a water park which opens at 10am so we can "sleep in".

Then the next day we are offsite so its up early but we will be back at the hotel 9ish so plenty of sleep for a 9am park opening.

With kids they need sleep or we fear a mid day meltdown and who wants that on vacation.

Whatever order puts me in the least crowded park on that day. I do not hold to the opinion that one park outweighs another in it's importance. I consider it all WDW and all on equal ground
