Did anyone else catch the Simpsons last night? They took their trip to "Efcot", where the motto is, "Because all the other parks are full." Plus, one of the buildings (an auditorium) was shaped like the old Horizons building!

I'll guess the radio frequecy is 88.1, the lowest on the FM dial.

All this bird talk has me thinking of Mary Poppins songs this morning ("Feed the Birds"). Hmmmm... I'll say the birds are Betty and Barney and the birds are Rockin' Robins. (get it? "Rubble", "rock"? Okay, okay, it's a stretch. Then again, it's Monday. )

Ocean.... Since there are so many newbies... I will insert the history of the shacky for you enjoy....

The History of the Shacky....

Once upon a time in a thread far far away......

A question was asked by amandadaddy to the "Parks Game... Let's Play" players....

"...in one of the parks there is what can only be described as a guard station, which park is it in and where is it located?....extra credit - describe the contents!"

The question and it's bonus spanned 9 days and 6 pages, eluding the very wise players.

During this time the shack was christened the "Love Shack" by madonna and has henceforth been referred to as such.

The question was eventually answered by wdwoldtimer and the bonus finished up by higgs22.

From this time on questions that were very difficult were compared to the "Love Shack".

At this point our story moves into the "Parks Game Part Deux: Let's Play more" where on 7-19-02 madonna asked the question...

Where in WDW have you heard the phrase"As long as they pay me, I'm pretty happy."?

This question lasted 4 days and 5 pages, once again eluding the players.

Her question was eventually answered by Higgs22.

At this time Higgs nominated and Granny seconded the nomination of madonna for a "Love Shack" achievement award.... affectionately known as a "Shacky"(given this name by our wise old Granny)


And forevermore the "Shacky" has signified excellence in PG Trivia lore...... and they played Happily Ever After....

BTW…saw "The Simpsons" last night…thought it was hysterical…espically the Eastern Airlines ride, and the $14 churro was too funny (and not that far from the truth )…nice touch adding Horizons as the auditorium….and was that you Granny I saw way in the background in the Epcot (or Efcot) CC?
I also thought that they did a great job drawing the park…while they did take some liberties, I thought it was a pretty accurate representation of Epcot

Now, a question based on last night’s episode (kinda) In the "Simpsons" Eastern Airlines sponsored the Future Sphere ride…what real-life WDW attraction did Eastern Airlines sponsor?

Exclusive bonus question….(this does not count for the game…so the SP can leave the dreaded black monorail in the station….just thought it was interesting….) What Disneyland attraction from yesteryear was also featured in last night’s "Simpsons"
