MBabe...do the meet and greet areas actually have names?

I think there's the Judges Tent in Toon town for Mickey.

And there's a spot just off the hub heading for Dinoland in AK.

And there's the main plaza at MGM right in front of the hat.

Granny..... Since I have limited my question to the six in the Magic Kingdom (see afore mentioned question ;) )..... You got one correct, The Judges Tent.

5 more to go..... Keep walking that park :p

:smooth:

OOPS! :o

I'm not too good at reading those questions sometimes!

Well, there's a character meet & greet at:

Town Hall

Cindy's Castle (after Cindy's Surprise Celebration)

I'm sure there are more....but I'll put those forward for now.

There's Ariel's Grotto, the old 20000 leagues landing and the old Skyway station in Fantasyland. Don't know if they have names, though.

Granny.... Town Hall isn't an official Mapped Greeting. :( I will however accept the Surprise Celebration as "Castle Forecourt Stage" :)

marty... You got "Fantasyland Character Festival" at the old 20K location and "Ariel's Grotto"

So far we have...

"Judges Tent"
"Castle Forecourt Stage"
"Fantasyland Character Festival"
"Ariel's Grotto"

Two more out there..... Keep looking :p

:smooth:

Isn't there one on the right side of the castle, as viewed from Main Street, where Belle reads books and such? It's in a garden or something.

Sorry my answer is kind of confused. My mind is focusing on my Florida trip, now less than 21 days away!!!

:bounce: Dave... I don't blame you! I'd be a bit distracted too ;)

No, that isn't one of the official "Character Greetings" They are maked on the map with a Gloved Mickey hand pointing to the area and listed on the map.

Still two more......

Dave, nice to see you here :)

Allright - you made me break out my map (from May) - and the last two are:

Pirates of the Caribbean
and
Toontown hall of fame

Ahhh... but marty, breaking out that map could only bring back good memories, right ;)

Marty ... you finshed up the list....

"Judges Tent" - Granny
"Castle Forecourt Stage" - Granny
"Fantasyland Character Festival" - marty
"Ariel's Grotto" - marty
"Pirates of the Caribbean" - marty
"Toontown hall of fame" - marty

Autographed AAQ cards to Granny and Marty :p

Looks like you're up....

:)

Good question MBabe. Another "tour the parks in your mind" question!

I'll toss one out there since it's a quiet evening:

What is the name of the counter service food place in Germany in Epcot?

Uh... Billy Bob's Beer Garden? ;) :p

Okay, seriously.... Biergarten :teeth:

:p

MBabe....Biergarten is the sit down restaurant I believe. I'm looking for the counter service food joint.:)

oops... I read service and missed the counter part :p

Would that be Sommerfest?

:smooth:

I'll second that MBabe. In keeping with a "foods of the world" theme:

Where in World Showcase can you enjoy Beaver Tails?

Ein AAQ Card to Frau MBabe!!!! :p

Yes, it is Sommerfest where you can grab some food and split in Germany.

And it looks like we could use another question since MCMom swatted that Beaver Tail out of the park! :p

Who's voice is it that tells the story of "The Making of Me" in Epcot?

Hi Wendy...welcome to the Parks Game thread...it's been running for almost two years now!!

And welcome to the DIS Boards...if you like Disney, you've come to the best set of boards on the internet.

And your first venture into the Parks Game results in a correct answer!! Yes, Martin Short narrates "The Making of Me" in Epcot.

You have been awarded an AAQ card for your correct answer. AAQ= Ask A Question. You got one right, so you can ask a trivia question of your own about any of the four WDW parks. :)

To keep the ball rolling I will use one of my AAQ's.

The Viking Playground boat in EPCOT's Norway pavillon is a prop from what film?

Good Luck!

1 Hour...Great Question!!! I'll guess.... Muppet's Treasure Island :p
