Oh carpedm... I'm just very good at educated guesses ;).

Granny..... I'll guess 135 feet :p

Since they would want the Tree of Life to remain dominant, is the height limit set to 70 feet? How about 71 feet? :)

Well, you are both heading in the right direction (the one I indicated! :p ), but no, it's still lower.

Think about it....70 feet would be a 7 story building. Have you seen any building's that tall at AK? :p

Granny.... how about 35.5 feet? (half of the magic number ;) )

:p

And MBabe nails it with her answer of 30 feet!

Yes, by Disney Decree, no buildings at DAK shall exceed 30 feet in height. Not only did they want the Tree of Life to dominate, they wanted all trees to dominate at AK. They wanted to preserve the jungle/rain forest look throughout the park.

I'd say they kind of lost that look in Chester & Hester's area, but overall, they did a good job! :)

Wow...great lesson there Granny, I never knew that. Of course, when you're short like me, everything looks tall. :p
Any questions?

MK....thanks, I kind of like the questions that reveal some of the thinking that went into the parks. :)

But I also like those historical questions, so....

What was the previous name of the "Liberty Belle" Riverboat in Frontierland?

MK... I can relate to that! :p

What WDW attraction boasts the most "Please remain seated" placards?

:smooth:

Granny..... Richard F. Irvine

WA... not Space Mountian ....keep guessing :)

:smooth:

MBabe slips into her kevlar Wench Ensemble.....

WA.....Uh.... not RnRc either.... Shoot!

MBabe...you are correct in identifying the original name of the Liberty Belle Riverboat as the Richard Irvine! I guess you could say that you blew that question out of the water!

A Southern Belle AAQ card to our resident Dole Whip Wench! :)

Oh..and MBabe....is the attraction you are looking for the Universe of Energy? What do they think you're going to do? Run out and play with the dinosaurs?
