Just stopping by and I don't think we have an active question. But also wanted to toast our own Dole Whip Wench for posting #500 on this thread!!! Pass the Whiparitas please!!! :bounce:

Thank you Granny.....I didn't even notice that :earseek: Wow... 500 posts in 32 pages, we're on a roll :p

Here is a question for the evening crowd to ponder...

At the start of the "Share a Dream Come True" Parade.... Who is it that has a dream? How does that dream start?

I think I'll pull up a CCAC for Illuminations :) a nice glass of Bailey's should take the nip out of the night air ;)

:smooth:

MBabe - Is it Walt Disney who had the dream?

Enough CCAC's to go around, so I think I'll join you.......except without the alcoholic beverages, of course!!! ;)

Ben.... No, it wasn't Walt who had the dream....keep guessing :)

Never fear Ben.... I have some Hot Chocolate and Herb Teas that will serve the same purpose..... as a matter of fact, I've changed my mind....a nice Chamomille Tea sounds relaxing :)

:)

Sorry, MBabe, but my sources say otherwise. Laughingplace.com quotes from the parade's script:

Hello everyone and welcome. This is Julie Andrews and I'd like to tell you a story. In 1901 a little boy named Walt Disney was born and a dream began. The dream of imagination that today, 100 years later, has touched every one of our lives. I once had the privilege to know the dreamer, Walt Disney. His imagination inspired and built his dreams into reality for all of us to share and he made them practically perfect in every way. Today we celebrate and share the legacy of Walt Disney filled with pixie dust, princesses, fairy tales, and fantasies and above all the magic of dreams.

Ooh, thanks for the hot chocolate!! It sounds just right while watching Illuminations. :D

Sorry Ben.... My question, my answer ;)...

Ben... no....That looks like it may have been from the parade's premier, attended by Julie Andrews. :)

;) Hint: The information I am looking for is heard at the front of the parade as it passes by you anywhere in the parade route..... It is spoken by a character.

In the 100 Years of Magic Celebration Magic Kingdom Parade -
Share a Dream Come True! the dream belonged to ... Mickey ummm Pinocchio??? one of the characters in the globe parade.

Kathryn.... no, but you are on the right track......

Kathryn.... pull up a CCAC and join Ben and me in a nice warm evening beverage :p

Ooooo.....Ahhhhh..... Isn't Illuminations beautiful :)

:)

Jimimy? TinkerBell??? ... ah thanks for the invite. headed over to Orlando in another hour or so. yeah dh isn't ready YET !!! At this rate won't be on the road until midnight

Seeing Illuminations from this angle makes me really look forward to joining LA COOL on the Illuminations Cruise next Friday night (30th) :smooth:

ok I am sure it has to do with Pinocchio so I'll cover all my bases and suggest the Blue Fairy as well

Jiminy sures sounds about right. But, to be different, I'll guess Mickey himself! Hey, it all started with a mouse, right? :p

Granny.... Well, you inadvertantly gave me what the dream started with "It was all started by a Mouse"....but it wasn't Pinoccio and Gepetto, Jiminy or the Blue Fairy.... it is another famous character duo (different movie ;) ).....

Keep guessing...

:)

Granny slips his night vision goggles on and loads up his trusty shotgun...

MBabe...how about....

Mickey and Minnie

Donald and Daisy

Pluto and Goofy :p

Peter Pan and Tink

Snow White and Gassy

or, maybe Sleeping Beauty and the Prince (hey...Once Upon a Dream...get it?) :p

Oh my.... Katheryn.... You got it already  Sorry, I must need some shut eye ;)

It is indeed Tinkerbell who has the dream. She is heard recounting it to Peter Pan (he interprets her bell like tinkling ;) ) as the parade passes by :)

Good Night All...

:o zzzzzzZZZ

Good morning, everyone...rise and shine!!! Another beautiful morning with the sun coming up over Space Mountain!:sunny:

And here's a Friday morning question to kick things off:

What line is said by Rex at the beginning of the Star Tours flight that is found in all Star Wars films?

"I have a bad feeling about this!" :) And if it's not in every film, it SHOULD be. It's by far the best line.
