We will be staying at FW campground. We would like to drive to some of the other resorts. Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club. Is there any charge for parking the day at these resorts? Is there room to park?

No, you don't have to pay to park on any Disney property as long as you are a resort guest. Be sure to keep your paper in the front window.

So people have had trouble parking on certain resort properties at certain times of the year. I haven't had a problem yet, but I don't go during the peak season either.

You should be able to park at the Boardwalk with no problem. That hotel has it's own entertainment area, so Disney encourages people to come spend some time (and money) there.

You may not be able to park at other hotels unless you have reservations for a meal. Disney has been cracking down because people were having a hard time parking at their own hotels.

I think the best way to see the resorts you mentioned is to get there from Epcot. When Epcot starts to get crowded, leave through the International Gateway and either walk or take the boat. When you're done, either go back to Epcot, or catch a bus to another theme park.
