Parking for Candlelight Processional?

I understand that you can get 3 hour free parking at any of the resorts to eat dinner there, or just to explore the resots. What about if I had a Candlelight Processional dinner plan? Do I still have to pay $11 to park at Epcot if I am only going for the dinner & show, or is it acceptable to park at the Boardwalk or its neighbor resorts and enter through the International Gateway?

Before the flames start roaring, I'm do NOT advocate trying to cheat Disney out of its parking money. I'm honestly asking whether the CP dinner should be treated like dinner at a resort.

During the holiday season at WDW it's a lot harder to park at the Deluxe Resorts, so unless you don't have any ADR's there is a good chance they might turn you away from parking there. Anyway with that being said since you would be going to Epcot for the Candlelight Processional, I would recommend parking at Epcot and paying the $11.00 because I will say again without having any ADR's at the Boardwalk or Yacht Club around that time it will be a lot harder to park there. Besides if your staying onsite at any WDW Resort, or have an AP then you can get free parking at Epcot.

Well, there usually is a sign up at the BW that says they cannot accomodate parking for EPCOT, MGM or the other parks. So, I'm guessing that they wouldn't allow it.

You could try the other resorts, and but again once they learned that you were actually going into the park, I'm pretty sure they would tell you to park at EPCOT.

I recently met some friends at ESPN and when I tried to park at the BW overflow, I was told I couldn't until 5:00 pm. When I asked about alternatives, the CM at the gate told me to park at EPCOT and walk in.

So, I'm thinking that they may expect you to park in the parking lot for EPCOT.

You can valet park at Y&B or Boardwalk and it's a dollar cheaper than the parking lot. Or,if you are a DDE card holder,a resort guest,a DVC member or have a handicapped sticker, you can valet park for free.

Actually it might cost more to valet park when you factor in the tip. Besides I remember one time on Christmas Day my Dad tried to park at the Yacht Club because there was a pin I was going to purchase from there and we were told we could not, since the Resort was full. We said what about valet parking and we were still told no. So if that could happen to the OP if they tried to park without an ADR. While I am sure you might have had a different experience, I am just telling you what I have experienced.
