not sure if this would go in here or in the transportation forum, but if we plan on booking an ohana breakfast for our MK day, are we able to drive to and park at the poly, have our breakfast at ohana. and then leave our car at poly for the rest of the day while we are in MK (then get our car after and go back to our room at the dolphin)?

cheers!

I think the official rule is you're not supposed to, but they won't stop you if you have a dining reservation.

No. But you could park in the MK lot and walk over to the Poly pretty easily. Or take the monorail from there if the Poly station has opened by the time you visit.

Offically, you can only park for 3 hours for a ADR and, at times, the parking attendant might give you a parking permit with an expiration time 3 hours after your arrival. I would not count on being able to leave the car there.

This is a very divisive topic. The official policy is no you cannot and the parking guards at all the MK resorts have been trying to really crack down on this. There have been many reports of people doing this to get out of paying for parking and there not being enough parking spots for the guests staying these resorts. As a PP said, I highly recommend parking at the TTC and using Disney’s transportation.

we are staying on property, so i'm not trying to get out of paying for parking. was just mostly trying to avoid the TTC but i guess we will park at the TTC and either walk or monorail to poly.

thanks everyone.

If staying at a Disney hotel there is no extra charge for parking at one of the parks. Why not park at MK and then take monorail to Poly to eat? Disney doesn't want people to fill up the hotel parking lots around the monorail resorts as a way to 'game' avoiding paying a parking fee for MK.

When is your Ohana breakfast? If it is earlier than the TTC parking lot opens, you'll have little choice but to drive (or Uber/Lyft/taxi) to Poly. But you definitely should, perhaps must, move your car within three hours. Perhaps your family can go ahead to MK (via monorail or ferry) while you're moving the car.

Edit: As long as you have an ADR for Ohana, you're entitled to park at Poly while you eat.

Our 60 day window has not opened yet, so i am not sure what time i will make the reservation but that is a good thing to think about. Do you know what time the TTC lot usually opens?
