Parkhopper 'plus' question

Okay this has probably been asked before but please bear with me. We are trying to decide between the regular 5 day parkhopper and the 5 day parkhopper plus tix.

Being that your passes don't expire until you use up your days and visits - please let me know if I have this assumption correct...

We use our 5 day parkhopper PLUS to visit the theme parks for 3 days. We also use one day at at waterpark.
SO - We should have 2 theme park days and one waterpark day left over after our visit that does not expire. Correct? Thanks!

So essentially a 5 day park hopper PLUS gets you 7 days worth of entertainment at WDW - 5 days of unlimited park hopping to the 4 parks and then 2 days of one visit to a waterpark (or PI, etc) ????

I am sorry if I sould like an idiot but we have found some confusing info on how these work.

Hey CJ!

Don't apologize for being confused! It takes a bit of understanding to get the Park Hopper Plus thing! But again. your last assumption is correct (who says you sound like an idiot

?). You really could get seven days worth out the the Hopper Plus and we have done that before. If you wanted, you could spend five days at the parks and the other two for a day at the waterparks, or a day at the resort and PI at night--you have a few options there. And neither the park days or the options expire! Hope this helps!

That's right as long as you don't visit a waterpark or PI on the same day you do one of the 4 major parks or visit both waterparks or a waterpark and PI on the same day.
