Okay Even though I am a seasoned WDW traveler - I have never taken advantage of the Extra Magic Hours. I was just looking on this site at the scheduled dates for EMH - and I am unclear about exactly what goes on. Found the way it was all described a bit confusing.

For example: on Sept 1st Epcot FW is listed as an Evening EMH - but the hours listed on the schedule next to it are 9:00-7:00. Aren't they the normal hours of FW? Does this mean that FW is open 3 hrs later than 7:00 - so closing at 10pm??? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Please explain:
EMH mornings - how much earlier? ANd earlier than posted time?
EMH evenings - how much later? and later than posted time?
I need to get wristbands? - how - when?
Than what?
Is it really worth it? Help! Thanks :wave2:

Certain rides in FW, like M:S, TT, Soarin', etc. are open until the WS closes, usually 9 PM. FW restaurants, carts, etc. will probably close at 7 PM. So, you need to look for the posted closing time of WS, and that will be the "normal" closing time for the popular rides throughout EPCOT. If there's an evening EMH in EPCOT, add 3 hours to the closing time. In a 9 PM example, EPCOT would be open until midnight.

EMH morning parks are open 1 hour earlier than the posted opening time.

The reason exact times, including EMH hours, are not posted for these parks is that EMH hours are only for WDW resort guests. If they just flat out listed the times, they'd probably have some very angry offsite people at 9 PM in EPCOT who do not understand they are not eligible for the EMH wristbands to get on rides after 9 PM. So they only "list" the hours that EVERYONE can be at the parks, and show which parks have EMH mornings or evenings for each day.

Basically, EMH mornings = 1 hour before posted opening, EMH evenings = 3 hours past posted opening.

Wristbands are only for the evening EMH's. They are available at certain points within the EMH park. You can pick them up starting, I think, 2 hours before the park's posted closing time.
