Can you get park maps at DTD guest services?

On arrival day, we'll have to make a quick stop to activate our tickets at Guest Relations at DTD. I wondered if they had maps of TL & BB there? We'd also love to pick up a MK and an Epcot map.

Thanks!

I am not certain but I want to say when we went in there last year that they had them, It seems like they had quite a bit of stuff in there. I'm not sure if your driving or flying but, if your driving down 75,you can stop at the official disney welcome center in Ocala...they have maps there. Have a great trip! :wave2:

Yup, you can get maps pretty much anywhere. At guest relations at DTD, the resorts, the parks.

It seems like you can get the red "Guide to Everything" in every hotel lobby within hundreds of miles of WDW. This has maps of every park in it. I happen to have one extra one I could mail you if you pm me your address.

If you have Annual Pass vouchers, you won't need to make that quick stop unless you need to buy something at DD. You can check in to your resort with an AP voucher, and don't need to activateyour APs until you get to your first park; just go to any ticket window or Guest Relations window at one of the 4 theme parks.

And all of the Disney resorts have a complete selection of park maps, water park maps, and Downtown Disney maps on the front desk, as well as the times and events printouts and a few other things. I always grab a handful of these things when I check in.

You will also be given a map of your resort when you check in; usually, the CM will write on it to show you where your room is, but if you want a clean map to take home as a souvenier, just ask.

And if you are staying at one of the Epcot resorts (Yacht & Beach Clubs, Boardwalk, or Swan & Dolphin), you wil also get a wonderful map of the Epcot Resort Area.

I have a few of these maps (parks, DD, and Epcot Resorts, as well as a few individual resort maps) on my web site:

I got this one, but it is a tan color. Awesome guide, there is a chart/table towards the back that tells you what rides are classic, great for kids, new, and thrill rides for each park.

Our vouchers are FL Res 1 day tickets with 2 pluses. We plan to use a "plus" at Typhoon Lagoon our first full day so we'll need to have them activated beforehand, wont' be hitting a park until day 2. I don't think they can do that at TL. We're also staying offsite(1st time) so we won't get any maps at check in.

So, consensus is that they have these maps at Guest Relations in DTD? We've randomly picked TL as our water park but I thought the kids might enjoy looking over the water park maps that evening and might want to switch over to BB instead. It's also fun to look at the Epcot and MK maps the night before. I have brochures but not the actual map.

Thanks!

Thanks! :flower: But we leave Sunday so I don't think it would arrive in time.

I just PMd you my address, in case you still have the extra one to give away. In any case, thanks for your generous offer.
