Park Choices

We just made the decision to stop putting off a Disney trip in hopes for things to go back to “normal” again. We are taking our son (5) for 3 days at the parks at the end of April. We know we have to book a park per day (for now at least) and plan to do one day at MK, one at HS. We are trying to decide on the 3rd day. Not sold on either AK or Epcot with a 5 year old who has a zoo membership at home (but open to hear your thoughts if you disagree). I was originally thinking 2 MK days because that’s home to me…but we love Star Wars and last time we were there was right after the very first phase opened. And my son loves Toy Story…so would HS be better for our 3rd day? For reference, this is our first time going as parents and my son’s first trip. We will also be doing a day at Legoland before or after. Thanks for any thoughts, suggestions, or tips!

I think for a short first trip, 2 days at MK and 1 at DHS are fine. I believe that's all I did on my first trip (and I was much older than 5).
I really don't think I missed anything by not going to Epcot or AK at that point in time.

I think I would plan 2 MK days and 1 DHS day. Taking my nieces (3 and 5) on a first trip later this year and am having a similar dilemma. I think we are planning on 2 MK days and 1 Epcot day because of the ability to "meet" princesses as well as Frozen and Remy. Also gives their parents the chance to go back at night for a nice dinner while we watch the girls later in the day.

Another 2 MK and 1 HS and we love HS. Make sure to checkout height requirements in advance for HS and plan if you want to rider switch a few.

I'd either do the 3rd day as a second MK day or as an EPCOT day.

I would do 2 MK days and 1 DHS day. There’s so much to see and do at MK.

I LOVE Studios but it has 3 rides in Toy Story Land. It's so small. MK has WAY more to offer and I would think 2 days is good!

Not sure of your exact dates or where you will be staying, but it might be helpful to consider the extended evening hours if applicable?
