My 15 yr old wants to do the CC parasailing. Is it ok to wait until we sail to book (Feb 22, 4 day Wonder) or should he book before we go? Also, I assume that it's refundable if for some (gasp!) reason we can't dock at CC, right?
Has anyone done it and is it a good experience there?
Thanks,

Cindy

Hi sjhlib

My 14yo DD went parasailing at CC but we did not book until we were onboard. She had a great time and will be doing it again this spring.
You will get a refund if the ship is unable to dock at CC.

We did this in August and the price was $70 pp and the tandem weight limit is 375......Andy

If you're sure you want that excursion, I would call 60 days out to make the reservation. Why waste your cruise time standing in line? Plus you'll be more certain of getting the time slot you prefer.

I agree with MrsPete...call ahead! I made my parasailing ressie when I made final payment (60 days). The parasailing is so peaceful...Wow! The boat ride is quite an experience, too!!! You'll love it.

Does anyone know if extra people can come on the boat. If myself and DS (9) are parasailing, can DH and DD (5) be on the boat. I'd love to get pics taken while we're up there!!

All passengers on the boat must pay ($70) whether they parasail or not - due to limited space onboard.

suggestion: Take two disposable cameras! Take one up with you, and ask another kind soul to take pics of you from the little boat as you ascend and descend. No doubt, someone will ask you to reciprocate!
