In front of Liberty tree tavern is nice...much lower crowds than Main Street and availability of benches...also have heard others mention sitting in the train station at the entrance for an interesting view...would be nice for spectro I bet....need to arrive early for that one.....the afternoon parade you could easily see anywhere without getting there early...Specto at night is worth plopping down on the curb early for so that no one is standing in front of you

I like the area near Pecos Bill's. We like to claim a spot, then send one adult to pick up some burgers to eat while we wait. I suggest bringing a beach towel to spread out and "mark your spot". I don't mean you should try to take more than your fair share of space, but you may have problems from the people who think they can come plop down in front of you after you've waited an hour.

For our last trip we got to main st. about an hour before the parade and picked our spots right on the curb. Then, since the kids were tired and ready for a rest, the adults took turns going in the shops all around. This worked our great for us, we were a group of 4 adults and 5 children, and there was always at least one adult more than happy to take a break on the curb with the kiddos. And it also turned out to be the perfect time for my DH to sneak away and buy me a special souveneir Mickey ring which I cheerish and wear everyday.

Our favorite spot is right in front of the shooting arcade in frontierland. There are places to play checkers, planters to sit on, shade (most important), and snacks close by. For a view of the castle in your photos without the crowd of the hub you can try a spot by the christmas shop.
