I bought a PAP for our first trip ever to WDW in August and now I am having second thoughts.
I ordered it over the phone and have received the voucher in the mail. We are a family of 3 adults. I plan on getting for my DM and DB two 8 days MYW tics. These come with 5 plusses so I figured I should get a PAP instead of an AP so that I could visit the water parks and Pleasure Island sice the rest of my family would have 5 plusses to use. Will purchase the MYW's tics when we get there.
Now I also plan on getting the DDE card which will give me half off Pleasure Island and the AP would give me $4 off the Water Parks.
I am now thinking that it would have probably been better for me to have just gotten the AP instead of the PAP. We probably won't even go to the water parks. If anything, we might do 2 days PI, 1 day BB, 1 day TL an 1 day DQ.
However, since this is our first visit we might just stick to the main parks and DD. We are not commando style park goers.
Anyway, is it possible to downgrade from a PAP to an AP and when I go to exchange my voucher for my actual ticket?
What do you think? Is this the right thing to do? All advice welcomed.
