Pants optional at the parks?

too many pedophiles running around in this crazy world for my children to not be wearing pants!:scared1:

Unbelievable. No wonder there is that "People of the Park" website.

Unfortunately, the wildly entertaining "People of the Park" site has closed.:sad2:

But fortunately, some sharp bloggers got screen caps of some of the photos there before the site went "poof'::woohoo:

My flight leaves at 10AM tomorrow morning & I haven't even begun to pack yet. Now it looks like I can save some room if this is the new dress code. (not likely that I would go bottomless.)

We met this couple that had their 6 year old daughter running around CBR topless after she went swimming. I thought that was a little old to be doing that. Two seems the cutoff for that kind of thing.

I agree this is not so common in the states, but in Europe and South America (my mom is Argentinian and we spend quite a bit of time down there) it's really common for little girls to wear bikini bottoms and no tops. Usually you don't see 6 year olds and up doing this, usually it's more kids in the 2-4 range, but still it is a cultural difference.

As far as the original topic of pantless little boys, WEIRD! We've noticed a TON of Main Street Diaper Changes, Diaper changes on benches, and the like. Also we've seen naked kids and half naked kids in the misters and sprinklers. But just walking around with no pants on? Haven't seen that before ! :rotfl:

Eh, who needs to pack.

Just tour the parks wearing only a pair of tighty whities and a lanyard to carry your Key to the World card.

Would certainly make for shorter lines at the food places. Just the thought of seeing some people walking around like this is enough to make me lose my appetite!! ;)

The family I mentioned in my post were also from England. I know in other countries customs vary. Nudity is quite common in say, Greece for example and they consider Americans very prudish. But when it comes to children you cannot be too careful because of pedophilia.
Oh yes us Brits love our nudity - sometimes we don't bother with any clothes whatsoever lol!
Perhaps the kids were trying to cope with the Floridian heat..? It's alot colder here when we frolic about in the buff!

I haven't ever noticed pantless kids running around other than in the fountain areas but I do know that at one night EMH our younger DS had wet through his last spare pants, he was still in diapers and it was a major issue with a photopass guy. We were doing the character meet n greets at Epcot and the photopass guy refused to take pics of DS unless he could capture him from the waist up. It was just one photopass guy and the others never said anything to us but I thought it was over the top. DS was in diapers not underwear! And if he was a little girl in a sundress w/ a diaper peeking out no one would of thought twice!

I'm just trying figure out which would be more "magical", tighty whiteys, boxer briefs, or boxers...I'm thinking the tighty whiteys! So who else will be there in January spreading the magic? :rotfl2:

Mods can we get an underwear smiley?

So if they moved Le Cellier to just outside the exit from the Kali River Rapids they would be able to do walk-ups ..... ;)

Hey, don't lump us all into the equation :lmao: :rotfl:

Too funny! My brother and I were joking around just the other day about going into a store without pants on. DB actually say "Hey, the sign at the door says 'No shirt, No shoes, No service' - it doesn't say anything about pants!" :rotfl2: I know I was joking, at least..... :rolleyes1 :scared: :lmao::rotfl:

Ah, you forgot about bikini underwear. :lmao:

When I was in high school at theme parks that had a water park section I would sometimes walk around with just my bathing suit top for a shirt (and either shorts over the bottoms or having changed out of the wet bottoms into my shorts again) and I could definitly see kids doing this (or for boys being topless) but no pants?

I must say I have always joked about the "No shoes, no shirt, no service" signs saying that technically all you need is flip flops and a t shirt to comply.... maybe some people are starting to try it?

My gym is even worse there they list a bunch of things you can't wear and say sneakers are required. So according to that I could go naked except for shoes.

Well, Disney DOES set the example, what with Donald running around pantsless and all.....:rolleyes1

Reminds me of the Happy the Hedgehog (silence your cellphones) commercial at the movie theater. "PUT PANTS ON THE HEDGEHOG!"
