My DH does this sometimes, too, as it gets closer to time to go. We have AP's (which we are going to get 3 trips out of this time, woohoo!) and our rooms are paid for (we own DVC now, so after this trip to PC we won't have to worry about that anymore). DH has poor impulse control and would use our saved money for other things, so I buy Disney Dollars each payday and put them aside to pay for meals, souvies, etc. That way the whole trip, except for gas and a room & meals on the way down (who cares if we get back, lol), is paid for before we even leave! This will be our 12th trip & he still gets nervous about the money, even though we've never had any problems. This time he has to pay for his own AP and the gas for the trip, so it will be interesting to see how he is about August. I'm prepared if he gets too freaky about it, though.
