ps carmie, I was looking at pics of you and family at the back of the boat, GREAT pics by the way, you all looked so relaxed and happy.
The twitching is annoying isnt it?
I dont get migraines thankgoodness, only about 3 in my life but head is a bit better today,
anyhow re your running, thats great, nearly 4 miles!!! it is all in the head, you can mostly always run further than you think you can, like in edinburgh, I dont have my garmin thingy to wear that tells me time, speed, distance bla bla, I went for a run and then went on www.mapmyrun.com and it turned out I had ran nearly 6 miles !!!! way more than I would have done if I was counting miles.
Try just one more lap next time!![]()

Pred sucks, Ive never had it, but my furbabies have had it and I know the side effects are difficult, you would be proud, Ive switched to de caf nearly everythingWOW! you gals have been busy today! GLAD to see so many back on the wagon!!!
I discovered if I don't drink enough water, I gain weight (probably retained water).
This week, prednisone whacked my weight loss. Trying to stop the coughing. If it doesn't work, I have to have another cat scan and a bronchi-something or other that does NOT sound like fun.
Tami, There's a woman at my gym who's down to a size 16. If it's ok with you, I'm going to let her babysit the dress until I can fit in it! SHE will actually wear it, too - apparently ballroom dances 3/4 nights a WEEK! Can you imagine?
I described my head yesterday as someone having my head in a vice and cranking it when I was driving home, I really feel for you, It must be just terrible having that all the time, I thought my eyes were going to pop out my head when I was vomiting, poor you, is there something sets them off?Thank you!!! Yes, we were relaxed and so very happy. The cruise was the best vacation we had ever had. I just love the sea days and looking forward to the 7 that we are going to have on the PC cruise. No rush to do anything, just take it easy and enjoy it!!!
They seem to come in waves. Sometimes, it seems that I get a few a month. Other times, I might go 6 months w/o one. I have a few things that seem to set them off (that time of the month, stress, and skipping meals) but not each time I experience those things (THANK GOODNESS!)I described my head yesterday as someone having my head in a vice and cranking it when I was driving home, I really feel for you, It must be just terrible having that all the time, I thought my eyes were going to pop out my head when I was vomiting, poor you, is there something sets them off?
I plan on getting up and running on the cruise. I really hope I do. I was planning in Dec and didn't but I don't want to gain weight (or at least gain less). I do plan on enjoying the food while cruising so I better incorporate some exerciseYes,enjoy and take it easy . but you will find me pounding deck four early so if you fancy it?? 6 miles aint so much for me really,I need to get butt into gear and step it up for half marathon coming up!!
Seems I have a few things in common with you folks! Trying to get fit and stay that way, love the DCL and finally the Panama Canal in January! Let me assure you those are not listed in order of importance
I too would love to be a few, say twenty, pounds thinner by then. Right after the holidays to boot!
I am trying common sense, moderation, less wine and more exercise. It is going slow, about as slow coming as January is!
Well good luck to everyone!
Welcome!!! Good luck to you.
The good thing about the cruise, it will make me think about what I'm putting in my mouth around the holidays. I love to make candy and it's just too easy to take bites and try what I'm making. I'm not saying I won't eat any - gotta make sure it's good before I give it away. But one bite is all it takes for that, not 10Maybe I need to plan a cruise each New Year!!!

Wow, a half marathon! Please keep us updated. I would like to that someday. Of course, I need to run my first 5K but hey, we all got to start somewhere![]()
I wish I could buy a new metabolism.![]()

It was on my to do list when I was loosing wt, I done a marathom last year, the loch ness marathon, it was AMAZING.
Yes, a marathon lunch!!AMEN, Sister!
I maintained from November through march, through two cruises, the holidays, and a month in Florida, so I know it can be done. GOOD luck to those who try.
Lynne, if you run the Disney in 2012, I will cheer you on! We can do lunch, after![]()
Wow Lynne, you amaze me!!!! That is so awesome!![]()
Also for those who run outdoors, how do you keep up the pace. I think I would just slowwwwww down. I need the treadmill to keep my pace for me.
Hi all, everyone has been so active while I have been away.
I have a couple of questions - first, do you have any recommendation on a heart monitor to wear while exercising - mine died. My BIL recommended the Polar F7, I think.

Ok. Prednisone whacked my weight this week - I went up and down 4 pounds in a week, so I'm relieved to report "dead even."
