I am about to close out a pampered chef party and I have a question.
My consultant is very new and I am not sure if she has all her facts correct.
My party was over $500 and I had two bookings. She said I will get $90 in free product, two half price items, to select a hostess special, 25% off whatever else I might want from the book and I will get 60% off my entire order at the two parities that booked from me.
My question is why would I even use my half off items or worse the 25% off if I can get 60% off when my mom has her party in two weeks ??? I do realize that I will have to pay for shipping at my mom's party but I will have to order something anyways and the shipping rate is a flat rate of $4.25.

I think you have to purchase the 1/2 off items before you get to use your credit. - that's how it is with most at home parties that I have hosted...

If that is the case (I have no idea - I've never had a PC party!) - could you just chose very VERY cheap items at 1/2 price in order to get the rest of the credit?

I love PC and have hosted many cooking shows...that said, idk what she means when she says that you will get 60% off your entire ored at your mom's show. Unless that's a special that she is having :confused3. At $500 you would be entitled to $90 in free products, 2 1/2 price items, 25% off anything else, free shipping on your order, the monthly host specials, 10% off any order for an entire year, and you would also be entitled to the monthly host specials when you bookings have their shows. Typically those specials are 60% off select items. Maybe that's what she was talking about. For instance if you mom has her show in August, they will have a couple of items at 60% off for the month, you and your mom could buy those at the discount. 1 time I got the boxed steak knife set and select pieces of the Executive cookwear at 60% off, that was a steal! I have never heard of 60% off your entire order at the shows that booked off you.

So you think the 60% off my entire order at my mom's party is for real ... I have had parties before with other companies but never had such a great deal. I wanted to get a bunch of stuff and the two higher priced items I was going to use the 50% off, then use my $90 in credit and then get the rest with the 25% off but now I will just get two cheep items with my 50% off, use all my $90 in credit and get everything else I wanted at my mom's party in two weeks where I will get 60% my entire order !!!!!!!!!!

I used to sell PC, and this is correct. You will not get 60% off of your entire order when you buy st your mom's show! Unless your consultant is putting the money up out of her pocket!

I do not want her to have to pay anything out of her own pocket :scared1:
Do you think it is a "special deal" because I am one of her first parties during her first month as being a consultant ??? She did say when I booked it that I was going to get something extra special for doing one of her first five shows but I thought it was that she bought all the food for the party (she only made a pizza so it was not too much $$$)
I have asked her directly three more times and every time she says I will get 60% off anything and everything I want at my mom's party :confused3:
I am closing out my party on Saturday so I hope her information is correct ... I really want to get the professional cookware for my DD who is going off to collage next year and I wanted to get a few things for me too but every penny counts (60 off is better than 50 off.)

The 60% off you can get is the hostess special, you don't get 60% off anything, just the items that PC has on special that month. I hope that helps. :)

Nope...you'll be allowed to buy the host specials (at about 60% off reg price) at each of your bookings...not off your entire order. But that's a great show and you'll get lots of great things. Congrats.

You do not have to use your 1/2 price item if you do not want to, maybe you know a friend that was not able to get something they really wanted and that would help them. You do not have to use your % off level either. Yes you would get whatever the host special is when both the people who booked off you have their party if they are both holding it the same month you get the same host special at each party. You get the host special for the same level as the host eg: they have a under $650 you get the level 1 item if their show is over $650 you would also get the level 2 items. So if the host special is 60% a set item that is what you can get, so if the host specials are actually what you are looking to purchase then yes the 60% off would be better but your 1/2 item (or combo item) noted in the catalog is for anything not just what PC picked for the month. Plus the 1/2 price item is only for this show.
Hope this makes sense. It has been a while since I have been active.
