Mom left my cookie sheet on the stove with a burner on and it shattered:scared1: I do not have the receipt any longer. Do they still offer the parts for half off a new one?

do you know the consultant that sold it to you and was it within the last few years? Contact them and they can look up the sale with corporate.

As a former constant, I can tell you that their stoneware has a 3 year warranty and if they are reluctant to cover stones left on the oven top. They consider that misuse or abuse. But if they are able to replace it under warranty then you will have to send them a piece of the pan but otherwise, as far as I know, they don't offer any sort of discount towards the purchase of a new one if it is out of warranty.

I had a baking stone in the oven cooking a pizza and it shattered into about a bazillion pieces. Pampered Chef (the consultant who sold it to me and corporate) declined to take any action despite it being used as intended. It was only a couple years old, but I didn't have my receipt. The consultant was my next door neighbor and clearly knew I bought it from her and she said she couldn't help without the receipt. I have not purchased from Pampered Chef since!

I'm confused - you use the item wrong or treat it badly, it breaks, and the company should replace it or give you a discount on another one?

I must be shopping at the wrong places!:lmao:

If I had a nickel for every PC stone I've broken....I'd have a dollar!:rotfl2:
I've been through so many, they break,I buy a new one. I doubt you'll get any help after 5 years, and you broke it by leaving it on the stove....(i've done this a few times...the noise is pretty incredible;)) besides I've found PC warranty to be pretty lame, I rarely buy their stuff....except for those stones...I like them the best our of all I've tried.....

I haven't tried any PC item, but I did get an Emile Henry pizza stone recently and I love it! I can't compare it to a PC stone but I know Emile Henry has amazing quality.

This exact same thing happened to me. We used it exactly per the instructions and it still broke. We did eventually buy another one. If this one breaks we are definitely done buying from PC.

As a consultant, Im pretty disappointed in the reaction of the consultant who sold you the piece. I've done more to help people that have purchased from OTHER consultants than yours did for you.

Stoneware *does* have a three-year guarantee ... like any other company, PC would likely decline to replace or offer a discount if it was damaged during a non-recommended use. I have had a (non-PC) pizza stone shatter in the oven, and it's a mess - i agree. I have sent back items that were damaged during proper use (and within the warranty), and had them replaced. I also don't think that PC is any different than any other company when asking for proof of purchase before replacing.

Please send me a DM if you think I can help further. One of the things that I have been pleasantly surprised about with PC is their willingness to help consultants please their customers. I have had to mail back defective/broken items, too.

I guess my point is ... please don't paint all of the company with a broad brush when there's such a varied array of levels of customer service provided by the independent consultants.

you can call and ask but i highly doubt they will replace it. they only have a 3 year warranty and how it broke is considered misuse. Normally if it broke in the over and its under 3 years they will have you send a piece back to get tested. they are good about replacing things under warranty. Most times, you dont need the receipt. The consultant that you bought it from can log in and access that information. When I was a consultant I could go online and type in the person's name and it would show me what they brought and when. if it was under warranty it would send them a prepaid return box..if it wasnt.....it would have me call the home office. sometimes I would get a rep who would replace it but most times not....for those people ( if they werent nasty) I would offer to replace it at a discount for them and eat the difference because I wanted to keep them happy!
