Palo Dinner...Fav Dishes...

I think I've read on here that they can do the soufflé gluten-free... Please say they can?? I will be so sad if I can't have my soufflé!!

My brother got the amaretto soufflé, which wasn't on the menu, and I think the waiter said was (or could be) gluten free. But I'm not completely sure. Just from memory, sorry. He liked it a lot though. I love the chocolate soufflé. In terms of courses, the fried calamari was excellent, as was the butternut squash ravioli pasta dish as a mid-course. That pasta was one of my favorite dishes on the whole cruise. The ossobucco as a main was great, as was the tenderloin on the Fantasy.
 
The Dover Sole was new on the menu in February and it was delicious.
 
not sure how anyone can eat more than one entree...........................we normally have the bread and antipasto with a glass of wine. then by the time we have an appetizer, salad and main....................i can barely eat my dessert. Always feel so full when I walk out of there.

I don't think I could eat more than one entrée. I was just curious... with that being said, I'm also not too interested in most things on the antipasti cart. Olives, blech. Prosciutto, blech. Bread, wine, steak. Mmm.
 
I do not like fish. On the new Palo menu they added Dover Sole. My husband does like fish but does not like sundried tomatoes. Our waiter convinced my husband to order it and said he would quickly get him something else if he didn't like it. I tasted it, We both LOVED it! I cannot wait until our next cruise so I can order it. Outstanding.
 

I love the mushroom risotto and the new lemon dessert is my new favorite it use to be the Panna Cotta.
 
Well, the Palo menu recently changed, so there will be some things that may be recommended that aren't available any longer.

Yes, items on the brunch menu are not available on the dinner menu. And vice versa.

I've only been once with the new menu and I had the Tomato Mozzarella Caprese

I almost always get the rack of lamb. It's my favorite dish of all the menus on the ship. However last cruise I tried the Pappardelle con Aragosta. It was so delicious, I couldn't get enough of it!
