Do scrapbook pages need titles? Would anyone mind giving me examples of some of your Disney page titles? (**sidenote: I may steal them, so you can consider this my asking for permission. If you don't want me to stel them, just say so). I have a serious lack of creativity when it comes to this department...

I don't mind sharing but I need to know what the topic is. Say for example when I have pictures of my son getting kisses from the Princesses I have used "So many Princesses so little time" This year it will probably be "Those Princesses just love me-They can't help it!!" That was his direct quote after Mulan, Aurora and Snow White planted big red kisses on his face!

Mostly I just use the name of the ride, character, event or location. This is the set up of my album however. I have one page for Dumbo, I page for meeting Mulan, 2 pg layout for Chef Mickey etc. Others are more meaningful. On my last Test Track page I used die cut letters -- "I did it!!" This was what my daughter said after riding test track.

You asked if you have to have titles. Of course not -- you can do as you like. There is no correct way. I find that dealing with my title takes so much time and effort. I wish I could break myself of the habit. I could just as well use a journaling block.

Mine tend to be along the "stating the b****y obvious" line - "Happy Birthday Josef", "Animal Kingdom" etc. as I add journalling to a lot of the pictures so I don't want to use all my space.

But if I can't think of anything to write I might be a bit more imaginative in my title.

I usually do some sort of an explanation of the set of pictures I'm scrapbooking. It might be "Happy 75th", Our Day at MGM, etc. Then I don't feel like I need to journal each and every picture if it is self explanatory.

It truly is a personal decision, another reason why I love to scrapbook.

I don't put a title on every page in a themed album (like an album dedicated to one WDW trip for example). But I try to put a title on every layout of my kids "life" albums because the pages jump from day to day, theme to theme, event to event.

With my WDW album, if I have title space (like if I use a BH Sketch) and an obvious title comes to mind, I use it. Otherwise I don't worry too much about it.

There is someone over the scrapbook thread (where we post our layouts) who titles every page and her titles are great. But I can't remember her user name. I'll check it and let you know.............P

Okay.... her user name is "latharia" .... just do a search for her post on the virtual scrapbook thread. She has great title ideas.

FWIW.... Since we usually do just one park per day, I usually title the opening page of that day with something like "Good Morning Magic Kingdom" or "The start of another fabulous day at the Magic Kingdom" type thing. And our last photos of a day are generally entitled..... "Good Night to MGM Studios" or "The end of our Epcot adventure" or something similarly non-exciting! HTH.......P
