This will be our 13th trip to WDW, going in 46 days. This is our last trip to WDW for a while.I just made the final payment yesterday. We have one three day ticket left from the last trip I thought we could use on this trip. I made reservation last Aug for the Package deal DDP and parkhopper tickets, I told the CM we have a three day parkhopper ticket left over from the last trip they said we could use it for this trip. We have a nine day package, They said just buy 2- 9 day park hopper tickets and one six day ticket and use your left over ticket, sounded good to me. I go to make final payment yesterday the CM said I could not use my other ticket from last trip said I needed all my Park hopper tickets to be the same, After talking to severl cm and manger I had to buy three more days of tickets. Now I had to come up with extra money and we still have a three day park hopper ticket to use. I just wish somebody would have told me I could not use my extra ticket when I made my reservation back in Aug. Not to happy with the package deal or how this was problem was solved. Whats up with the res dept, different rules for different guest??? No magic here..... looks like we will be back in 3-4 years, no package for us next time.

No call back and tell them you want just 6 day Park hoppers.

Then when you arrive go to one of the Guest relations and upgrade 2 needed ones to the 9 days.

They are correct that they have to all be the same with the package but you can up-grade what you need to after you arrive.

It is correct that everyone has to have the same ticket. That is the rule for the packages.

But, I would do exactly as the previous poster suggested. This is done frequently by guests in your situation.

The price of a 6 day park hopper is $247 for an adult.

The price of a 9 day park hopper is $252 for a adult.

I would pay the $5 difference and save the unused portion of the old park hopper for another trip when it would be more valuable.

I would have to agree with Minnie here.

I use to people doing this with APs and 1 day passes.

But for the money I would hold onto the other ticket for another trip as well.

1) DO NOT USE YOUR OLD TICKETS!
2) The price for 9-day tickets is just over $5.
3) Using the old tickets is a total waste of money.
4) Use them for a future trip, when not doing a package.
5) Just buy the 9-day tickets as part of the package.

I agree with everyone else!

Going to stick with the package deal and 9 day tickets, just had a problem with the way things were handled up front. WE won't be back to wdw for a while, I just hang on to three day hopper... Thanks....

Yep, like everyone here I see the same problem. On a package, everyone needs to have the same ticket and you have more than 3 people going. Purchase 6 day hoppers and upgrade the 2 that need to be upgraded when you arrive. . .that is all.

One more thing, if you have the dining plan and want it for all 9 days, you definitely need to purchase the 9 day hoppers for everyone.

This is wrong. They do NOT have to do that. The dining package goes by how many nights you are staying, it has nothing to do with how many days of passes you have. We have booked 10 nite package with 1 day ticket and got 10 nites of dining.
